A friend and I went for a lovely walk in Mount Juliet and then rambled in for some refreshments in the Blackberry Cafe. There was a lovely friendly atmosphere in this busy Cafe thanks to 'Julie' who looked after us promptly and gave us a really warm welcome. The home baking is delicious. Definitely recommend a visit.

Mocha Days is a premier international coffee house of Kilkenny, Ireland.
Totally amazing crepes and coffee. We were welcomed seated and served v quickly and impressed by the menu. Gluten-free crepes that were seriously delicious!! The normal ones were fantastic too btw! Tasty coffee (even iced coffee and syrups). Perfect late lunch snack when exploring Kilkenny. A really top place that you could easily walk past - DONâT!!

We called into the Excel Arts and Cultural Centre for some information only to discover the cafe on the ground floor. The place had plenty of locals in it which we took to be a good sign so decided to have lunch. The food was fine, coffee was good and the staff were very friendly. Worth a visit.Dear Peter OThanks for the positive review, we are glad you found us. Community Tea Rooms and Shop. Our Tea Rooms and Shop in Ballyhale was formed by the communities of Knocktopher, Ballyhale, Knockmoylon ( Hence the KBK) to alleviate the loss of all our retail outlets due to the recession and the opening of the M9 motorway
Food was delicious and so reasonably priced (not like New York prices). The atmosphere was so quaint. And, most importantly, the service and friendliness was beyond! Thank you, Dave, for answering so many questions, having a seat with us to help plan out the rest of our trip in Ireland. Go and remember to order a yummy scone!!!!!

I have recently had breakfast, dinner and afternoon coffee at Ryan's Daughter. The breakfast is first rate, perfectly cooked and well presented. I recommend the full Irish breakfast which is generous, piping hot and delicious! The brown bread is excellent. For dinner/lunch recently I opted for salad, this has chicken, beef and ham along with various salads. I really enjoyed it, a great choice in hot weather. Everything is freshly made to a high standard. For my afternoon coffee I chose a beef salad sandwich and I can say it was the best sandwich I've ever tasted. It was so filling, again freshly made. I had fries with it, so crispy, I absolutely loved them. Though the cafe is busy, service is excellent with friendly, well trained staff who are so helpful. The decor is beautiful, creative, very clean, bright and eye catching. The owners, Gary and Geraldine, along with their staff work very hard to ensure a high standard of food, service and all round great experience for their customers. Service is excellent but not intrusive.I couldn't recommend Ryan's Daughter Restaurants more highly!Hi Korimillie , A big thank you for your lovely review . We are very lucky to have wonderful people visit our restaurant . We are looking forward to seeing you soon again . Gary

Every time I visit Kilkenny I always find myself returning to this cafe. The menu seems to cater for all and the same are always so friendly and welcoming. When you first walk it in appears small but there is more seating on 2 additional floors so there is plenty of space. The smoothies are always delicious too!It is very heartening to hear a customer say they love returning to our restaurant as it realy endorses what we to as a team thank you from both myself and my great staff.Kind regards Thomas

I camped under Cashel Castle for a night at O'Briens Holiday Lodge (recommended). That night was cold, damp and windy. In the morning I needed something warm and filling to get me started for a days walking/hiking. I headed through Cashel, and evetually came across Ladyswell Restuarant on the eastern side of town. Safe to say that the full Irish breakfast hit the spot. It was just the right amount food, not to much and not to little. The staff were very friendly, and took the time to chat even though the restuarant was jam packed. If you are in Cashel and hungry, they will feed you well. Safe travels, R

When visiting Kilkenny, I arrived quite early so I thought I would go look for a place to eat breakfast.I stumbled upon this little eating place. A small place yes but with a Irish charm.Food is normally priced for what youâre getting. You can breakfast and lunch there and everything is freshly made.I hade scrambled eggs with tomato and bean with 2 slices of toast. It tasted delicious and the portion you get is quite generous. Friendly owner and staff. And above all: no hidden fees or extra cost compared to restaurants in very touristic places.Definitely worth visiting if youâre looking for a cosy place to eat and drink.

Small dining room, tiny bar stand make this cafe a very cozy place. No need to say that it was packed. Three waiters did great job serving quickly in a friendly manner. Chestnut soup, Caesar salad, lobster, cod - all was deliciously cooked and presented.
