I am a local and I am always on the look for a good coffee spot. This is one of the bests in Blenheim. They make a real good coffee and the girls who make them are really nice. The cafe is in a small mall, with some seating, maybe not the nicest place to sit down, unfortunately not outside as well. But the coffee and food make more than up for this. They do really good slices and all reasonable prices as well. It is always busy so this is a real good sign. I come here once a week.

Stopped here on our Warbirds Over Wanaka trip around the South Island, to meet my cousins for lunch. Great service and nice well priced food. Lovely outdoor seating area, with a neat man made pond, shops, wine cellar and things for the kids to do. Great location as well, being right by a number of wineries. And Whitehaven Wines are onsite :)

If we stop for coffee and cake, or for lunch, and enjoy the experience I usually give a 4/5 rating. This café gets an immediate 5/5 from me and I am interested to know why! They do have an amazing range of cakes and savouries on display. But it is the ambiance of the place that appeals: light, spacious, not noisy – I would like to come here again! This in spite of the negative of having no table service – you wait at the counter for your order, and take it with you. If I lived in Blenheim I would be a regular customer here.

We were looking for a coffee stop on a Sunday afternoon. Almost all the “well known” coffee cafes that we searched online were closed on sundays - vines village cafe was an exception that closes at 5pm on a Sunday. So we drove over and were pleasantly surprised. It attracted quite a crowd of locals and we can see why - good coffee and great live music. A young lady that sang with her acoustic guitar. Her voice was pretty heavenly. We enjoyed a chill afternoon here before taking our ferry in Picton. Thanks! Thanks for visiting, that was our biggest day of the year, great timing! Safe travels

Unfortunately in today's commercial world the cost of producing well prepared fresh food using good ingredients is more expensive. We are glad you appreciated however the quality of what we have to offer. Our apologies if you had a wait for a takeaway coffee, at times when the cafe is busy also this can be a problem, but we will look to improve on this....Thanks again

Really loved this restaurant when it was Raupo and having heard the restaurant was under new ownership as Saveur was interested to give it a try for dinner. As part of a large party it was firstly disappointing that we had to wait over 10 minutes to be given menus even though there were only a few other diners. We then waited at least a further 15 minutes to place orders and then only after one of the group members attracted a member of staffs attention. The food then seemed to take an unreasonable amount of time to arrive and was only average with the $17 entree cheese tart lacking value for money and the $8 portion of fries being lukewarm and not very crispy. Only other vegetarian option was also a entree of crumbed Camembert or a combination of sides. Won’t be heading back in a hurry.

I just arrived for first visit to Blenheim. I saw this pie shop and decided to seek it out for lunch. They said the most popular is pork belly and steak and blue cheese. I bought the steak and blue cheese. It was yummy and the crust was a super pastry. Grab napkins. There are two picnic tables to eat outside; order at counter.
