It is hard to run a modern patisserie near the Balaton. This family-run place became well known for its quality made cakes, sandwiches and café. Meanwhile, the staff is friendly and can handle all the orders even in very crowded times, sometimes you have to wait a few minutes to have your order.Drawback? It's closed for weekdays off-the season and completely closed from December to February. This is not a cheap place to have a drink or dessert. Meanwhile it is not as expensive as Pub-Lik (for example) or a similar quality place in downtown Budapest.

We recently stopped here twice and we loved both our visits.Last Friday late afternoon we had drinks on the terrace, overlooking the countryside (on your left hand side), right next to the highway, enjoying the sunshine. The following morning we decided to stop here again on our way to Budapest, and had excellent coffees and a great piece of white chocolate cake.The host of this place is a friendly gentleman, the place has modern looks, the (lounge) music in the background is excellent and great drinks are served here: what a nice place to relax!

Finally a place where they can make a coffee that doesn't lack proper milk foam or taste like rain water.Really charming outdoor seating, a bit to cramped indoors with a lot of flimsy decor and overpopulated shelves.Had the breakfast omelette and a couple of coffees, seems to take a while to produce the meals, though there weren't that many guests at the time. A bit shame that the buns weren't really fresh at a bakery as this is. Still, worth a visit and a good place to start the day.

I had ice cream and coffee at Tóparti fagyizó. It was delicious and service was very nice. They have a spacy terracce and parking place is also available.Thank you very much!
