Went Thursday evening had a fabulous meal. Myself Sea Bass and the best sea bass I have ever had plus crispy Kal, new potatoes and a fab sauce everything was perfect. My husband had fish and chips and he said the chips were very crispy and the peas were very different. But the main pointer was the staff, Sam the bar manager was so friendly and lovely to be treated with respect and bending down to take our order and talk to us. We enjoyed it so much we went back again Friday. Had nachos with pulled chicken and sour cream and sweet potato fries, wow never had such a huge plate full, but lovely to see the staff remembered us and again we're so polite. Highly recommended

I am ashamed to say I had a few words with Mrs Robert over this one. She wanted a crab sandwich, I fancied a ploughman's lunch and thought a pub would be the place. As we were at here and were going to Bedruthan we settled on the National Trust place at Carnewas.Mrs Robert had an excellent crab sandwich and my ploughman's lunch was, by a very long way, the best I have had in a long time. Perfection would only have been achieved could I have had a pint of Tribute to go with it.A great place, which will even do stuff to take away if you are going on a cliff walk.

He living is easy in The Living Space. Here you can eat, meet and greet, or just lounge on the sofas and gaze at the view. A wide open yet cosy place, anything goes in the Living Space - a bit like the beach it overlooks. The open kitchen serves food that
All round stunning. Design, space, views etc are fabulous. Coffee excellent, really delicious. Food was super, we both had the fish finger sandwiches that came with fries and salad. Childrenâs meal very good (sandwich and crudités). they serve a clotted cream gin and tonic which Iâd highly recommend. Service amazing. Would thoroughly recommend. Dear BecciT, Thank you for your great review and recommendation. Hopefully we'll see you again for another glass of Cornish Clotted Cream gin and tonic!

The style combines Cornish attitude with a classic brasserie, while the food draws on international influences, local inspiration and executive chef Neil Haydock's passion for contemporary American cuisine. Provenance is important and the seasonal two or
Uninspiring menu coupled with slow service and overpriced, mediocre wine. Dined here as part of a full board stay at Watergate Bay Hotel. Food choice uninspiring and below expectations. Although the quality is better than most chain hotels it could be so much better. But it's a captive audience here, especially if you want a drink. In future, we'll probably drive over to Padstow for fine dining for similar money once you factor out the £35+ mediocre wine. Such a shame, a missed opportunity.Dear johnroberts422,Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. It's disappointing to read that you didn't enjoy your meal in Zacry's. We always try to source the finest local, seasonal produce which is normally very well received by our guests. I apologise that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion. I will be sure to pass your comments along to the team to review and we will hope to have the opportunity to welcoming you back in the future.

Our restaurant menus are simple yet bursting with flavour, changing daily to ensure that full use is made of what is at its local, seasonal best, whilst remaining reasonably priced. Breakfast and lunch are relaxed and served in the restaurant or the terra
Came here for lunch as a birthday treat after following this place's fortunes since its launch, but never getting round to a visit The hosts are superb. A truly good balance of friendliness, and attentiveness without being obsequious or annoyingly over attentive. I was made to feel welcome and special from the start. A lovely window table meant we enjoyed the sight of crashing waves whilst waiting for our food. Delicious food, well presented and thoroughly enjoyed by us. It was made clear that we were welcome to wander around and after we had finished exploring, we curled up in the Retreat and enjoyed a coffee before setting off for home.We didn't have any spa treatments and were only there for an afternoon, but we came away feeling happy and very relaxed. The I am so pleased that you got round to visiting us and enjoyed a Birthday treat here. The views from both the restaurant and the retreat lounge are gorgeous and ever changing from day to day, tide to tide. We hope that you will find the time to experience our spa at some point in the future too! Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review. Lisa B (Deputy House Manager)

The Travellers Rest is a beautiful Cornish village pub nestled between Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay beaches, just a mile away from Newquay Airport. This pub is ideally located to relax and unwind as you take in the sights of the North Cornwall coast. Da
We had 2 meals here whilst on holiday and on both occasions the food was really tasty, served quickly, looked a great dish and all the staff attentive and friendly - everyone with dogs (and there were a few) was made most welcome. Really felt this was a pub to pass on a recommendation to others if down this way.

Our second visit to the Falcon Inn did not disappoint As usual the pub was extremely busy and as usual we waited around an hour to get seated and as usual it was well worth the wait.My advice to those out their that dont appreciate good home cooked food and good cask ale who get grumpy if they arent immediately seated and fed "get yourselves to Mc Donalds as this place is not for you" Yes i did reads toms review! How wrong you are Tom!Again i take my hat off to the staff at this busy little pub the only problem with being constantly that busy is STRESS and this team deal with it admirably Well done all at the Falcon and we look forward to seeing you again next year The Applewhites

Iâd really prefer not to write a review and try to keep this fabulous restaurant quiet. But I think that ship has sailed. Almost impossible to get a table and when you do get one youâll understand why. Quirky building great atmosphere and awesome food.

Vintage Tea Room and triple-award winning garden, gorgeous conservatory with grapevine, Village Stores, community Post Office
We visited the tea rooms for a lunch. I had jacket potato and beans. John had a cream tea. The tea room was spotless, the food was delicious and the conservetry was delightful. From the cup and saucer lamp shades to the beautifully kept garden, Tea was served in china tea pots with china cups and saucers. We will definitely use the tea rooms again. We had walked in from Mawgan Porth and were in need of refreshments, Thank you to all of the staff. Margaret and John Marsh.Thank you for your lovely comments, it really means such a lot to us. We're so pleased to hear you enjoyed your visit, and hope you'll be back soon for more of the same. Bonita :)
