We loved the place, the food and the people. Itâs has a cozy and pleasant atmosphere. Great service, right at the beach and the food and snacks are all delicious. We definitely recommend.

Lugar feio e sujo atendimento é uma piada, a comida não tenho palavras para tentar explicar, simplesmente desastrosa horrÃvel , feia, mau feita, salada velha, batata frita escorrendo gordura mole frita em óleo sujo, arroz frio requentado 10 x, camarão tamanho miniatura com casca frito em gordura suja , lanche horrÃvel, olha um destare total mais total mesmo, mesas de plastico velhas e sujas.Sem nenhuma duvida o pior restaurante que já comi na minha vida e caro ainda por cima( conta de 170 reais um casal e uma criança ) Sou um dos maiores contribuidores do Trip de Curitiba e tenho 41 anos portanto acreditem é bem ruim mesmo, e não entendo como um lugar destes pode estar funcionando, é lamentável um lugar tão lindo como a ilha não ter nenhum tipo de fiscalização de padrão e o nosso bom e velho brasil em ação.

Ordered the fried fish specialty, and wow was it amazing. 2 whole fish fried and served in typical brazilian manner with rice, beans, fries, and salad. This was our third time eating here, and we enjoyed it each time, but the fish was pretty special.

Ate a lot of seafood along with pizzas and pastels here. Great selection and awesome muqueca. The serving is HUGE though.

Arrived late on Sunday night off a last minute boat to the island. We stumbled upon this place looking for somewhere to stay. It was the middle of winter for Brazil so the island seemed to be only locals. As we walked past we were warmly welcomed. My fiancé was very hungry so Luiz made her some french fries after quickly getting the kitchen ready per her her request. He offered up fish and several other entreés to us, but it was already late so we went to bed shortly after having some drinks. A wonderful breakfast was prepared both mornings at a time of our choosing. One of the nights we stayed in and had a steak dinner. Any sides and juices we wanted were made fresh. My fiancé speaks Portuguese but I don't very well yet. Luiz speaks english very well and explained everything to whichever one of us was asking or needed to know. He even helped me with my Portuguese and pronunciation. And on top of that, he gave us advice for a wonderful easy hike, and much longer one to a lighthouse we took graciously. Beautiful views for nearly the entire hike. Even found the boats and caught a water taxi back to the restaurant for more food and drinks. Every cost was reasonable and it was an experience of a lifetime. We will absolutely be coming back. Many thanks Tanner for yours avaliation on us... Thru Guide du routard advice , we have been in this restaurant. We choose a commercial plate which is a mixte of fish with French fries, red beans, and rice with différent kind of dips. It was the best restaurant that I ve done since I m in Brazilia. We were very welcoming and waiters were very kindly with us. I could recommend this place for those who want to enjoy a nice lunch in a Nice area therefore the price is definitively cheapper than what we could have in other cities.

Discovering Shams was a pretty nice experience. The musicians that were playing the nights we were in the island were really great! The bar suggests R$ 2 as couvert for their service, which is totally worth it. Besides that, the menu is pretty nice - you can have seafood appetizers, but also burgers and fries and some arabic dishes (homus with pita bread and shawarma). I really enjoyed the falafel shawarma and the cheddar burger (we went there two nights in a row).

We went here to celebrate and it was a great success!The starter of calamares was very good, with different sauses - huge portion!The paella was really delicious, as was the moqueca. Portions are all huge.We took the caipirinha mineira (with special cachaça) and it was the best we've had in the whole of brazil!
