We stumbled across this hidden Gem on our road trip around Italy. Driving through Greve in Chianti, in the rain, we noticed this quaint corner Restaurant that was serving grilled meats and Chianti. The owner was very sweet and accommodating. We were some of the first patrons in the restaurant so she was able to give us a full tour around their menu. The restaurant was cozy and rustic with a wood-burning oven. To start we ordered traditional Bruschetta with diced tomatoes and an eggplant terrine, which were super tasty. The second course was a Risotto with a pistachio cream sauce. It's flavor was delicate and outstanding. Our main course was a Filet of beef over a yoghurt cream sauce with baked tomatoes on the side. The beef melted in your mouth. Our meal was accompanied by a Savignola Paolina Chianti Classico Reserve recommended by the owner. We've been to Poggibonsi for dinner. Located near the station, this restaurant is run by a young architect (Luca), that make us feel at home. We found a table for 13 persons around 22:00 and he was immediately shown nice and welcoming. Without looking at the menu we left him advise his typical appetizer. Everything was perfect, classic dishes and revisited dishes. We tasted two first dishes too, "pici" and "ravioli", both with gourmet sauces. Finally we closed with some desserts, and of course none of us was disappointed. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit, I hope we will return in the coming days. There are two diamonds to see, the first is the restaurant itself with his entire staff, and the second is the owner. Magic!

I was there following the rate they received. The restaurant was more than half empty , one waiter who also caters the bar nearby. All dishes served were not of good quality and were extremely disappointed.Not recommendedDear Baldwin2, We are sorry that you didnât like our food we serve from 25 years with good quality and several clients along the years we have the restaurant, but we have two separate ambience: the bar and the restaurant and we have two different waiters, one at the bar (the owner) and one/two -depending on the reservation we have- for the restaurant. Maybe you have seen wrong but this is not our fault. After a quick chatting we discovered that the waiter showed you were is the bar where our guests usually go to pay. Good atmosphere, fine starters and wine, pasta for the vegetarians and a standing rib roast that almost converted those party-poopers to the carniverous life. Marco and his staff speak impeccable English and advise the guests about what size standing rib roast is right. Then the meat comes to the table, perfectly seasoned and grilledn on a litle brazier to keep it warm. This is the authentic bistecca alla fiorentina, not the nonsense in silly portions that the tourists have. Had an awesome Lunch & Wine Tasting experience at Tenuta Torciano. Our second visit in three years and introduced our family to this experience on our trip this year. Had a fantastic time with Sommelier Marco. .........but I was wrong! When we arrived the place literally smelled like raw sewage. We sat outside instead. The food wasn't bad. A particular standout was the handmade egg pasta. The wine was corked, and the pro secco was undrinkable.The staff is pretty unfriendly too. Not a big fan, and won't be returning.

I really liked the pace! I am from Spain and l went there for a couple of days with my girl friend! The room and food where fantactic!
