I was several times there, inside and outside in the garden. I find it a really decent restaurant, with good quality Greek food, really good seafood especially fantastic pulpos, and great fresh salads. Never experienced bad service being friendly to the waiters. !!! Small tips are expected!

Having read some positive reviews on Kathiâs, we decided to go. Upon arrival we were advised the restaurant was full and the only table available was within a small overflow area. Before taking in the surroundings, we accepted and sat down. We quickly realised the area we were sat was the entrance to two shops and a bar?!! The shop windows were in need of a wash and the ambience was non existent. I absolutely adore steak and often cook in my own kitchen, I was really keen to try the special Bavarian steak. Iâm a little confused as to why you would come to Bavaria and order meat from another country? There was many selections from other countries available. I should note that with a price tag of â¬39, my expectations were high. My husband ordered the burger.Our food arrived and cutting into my steak, it became obvious the meat was not cooked as ordered, I requested âmediumâ...the meat had not been rested either meaning the meat juices and blood were on my plate. I requested the waiter return to the kitchen for further cooking. Once my steak arrived back, it was cooked to my preference however still oozing meat juices on the plate. At home, my steak is rested for a minimum of 5 minutes to avoid this. The meat was nice and so too were the accompaniments, my husband reports his burger was tasteless and laden with various sauces, causing it to collapse with moisture. All in all, we would not return. A restaurant focusing on serving steak should have chefs who know how to successfully cook (and rest) this expensive cut of meat.

The steaks in this place are very decent (I like their Lamm-Filet, for example). Unfortunately, for me, this restaurant is spoiled by their low-quality burger meat. There are lots of burgers (which is good), it's a speciality of them. BUT, the meat patties are standard frozen tasteless things. For a steak place, this is not acceptable. So now, if I go there, I avoid the burgers 9which is a pitty, I like a good burger), and stay on the steaks - can't do much wrong there.
