Find out what Barbecue restaurants to try in Gros Islet. Gros Islet, on the northern tip of St. Lucia, is a blossoming destination, at once remote and exciting.  The best way to explore the shoreline may be Island Riders, where riding veterans and beginners alike can trot along on horseback and chat with the locals.  The Jump Up street party, perhaps the most recognized of the town's attractions, is also a must for a taste of Gros Islet's unique blend of food and music.

Great menu, went for the super catch of the day. The red snapper, it was huge. Very well cooked with sweet potato mash grilled plantain and salad. The service was good overall, only negative was that the food took a long time to come. Will go again before I go home.

What a fantastic bar! I can’t get enough of this place and the owner was telling us last night about comedy and poetry nights in addition to live music - coming soon. It has got an amazing vibe, fantastic food, fabulous drinks, and the decor is perfection. I love that it’s just off the main street in Gros Islet so it has a more intimate vibe but it’s still steps from the street party jam.

We Went to this place to get some seafood & it was totally not what we expected. Ambiance wasnt that pleasing neither. Not interestred in going to this place againSorry the ambiance wasnt you expected john. But we do not advertise to be anything but a spot in the country with local home cooked meal style. And we would've appreciated the feedback on the day as well so we can see what we can improve on.

This is a food truck across the highway from the Harbor Club, on a lot with several others. We picked this one on the advice of our hostess. Excellent recommendation! If you like great jerk barbq food and don't need to waste money on ambience, this is the place. The best meal I've had so far on St. Lucia, and we paid only EC$40 for two people. You can take your large meal with you or eat at the tables out front. Lots of easy parking.
