The SKYY is the rooftop bar of the Westcord Fashion hotel in the Fashion district in Amsterdam West (close to the A10 highway). It is a fairly upscale, relaxed and funky place with good drinks and cocktails, some dining options and great views! There is a DJ Thursday-Sunday, but not rally a dance floor, although I think this could be improvised. There is also a more private seating/dining section on a partial second floor.

We are a nice restaurant in the small town of Spaarndam. The town known from Hansje Brinker and smoked eal. We serve soups, sandwiches, salads, mains and of course our famous Sticky Toffie Pie! Come visit us and our beautiful Spaarndam!

Cycling in the Spaarndam/Spaarnwoude area. We've stopped here before.Roadside cafe/restaurant right by a smmall roadway on top of the dike between a bridge that opens for taller watercraft & if you cycle just few mminutes further down towards the center, a photo opportunity awaits you by another bridge - a statue of the world fammous story character- The boy who stuck his finger in the dike to stop a floodingThe cafe terrace along the front was busy for the lunch hour. Mmy Mmmichael ordered a chicken sandwich & I tried to order a brownie, but they were not ready yet. I had a really nice warmm, sticky toffee cake with carammel sauce - mmini carammel blocks garnishing the plate.The serving teamm of 2 were very friendly with everyone during each interaction.We live in Amsterdamm & cycle everywhere, as it is our only source of regular transportation. I would giggly recommend a visit to de Toeriste when in the area. We've been before & will visit again!

The Grand Cafe Hermes was a short walk from our hotel. Recommended by the hotel staff and we were not disappointed. Great meals with substantial proportions - the Hermes burger was excellent. Staff excellent - friendly and efficient. Literally one of the best meals of my life. I had PLAICE, a white fish that was roasted lightly with spring peas, green beans and capers. Light, fragrant and delicious. The service was exceptional, the beauty of the canal delightful and everyone was just a joy. Donât miss!

We visited this restaurant with our two children, aged 11 and 16. They can both be picky eaters, but we were all impressed with this restaurant. The food and service were both excellent. The staff were very friendly. There is an area outside under a canopy, so lots of seating in the summer.

A less formal simple dinner with colleagues while travelling. We were looking for a place to relax and enjoy some straight forward food. The Happy Bull didnât disappoint. We were joined by another colleague and although very busy the friendly and helpful staff were able to fit in one more. You do need to book. Iâm not sure you can be certain of a table if you just drop in. Thankfully you can book via TripAdvisor. The food was very well done. The onion rings were great. We all went for a burger of some kind, and the options are extensive. They cater for all tastes with chicken and vegetarian options also available. The craft beer menu was good with a wide range of US beers to add to the Americana feel. Value for money was excellent too. Three of us were well fed with several beers for â¬35/head.

I had lost my cell phone today and was feeling miserable. Three hours later, I found it and felt wonderful. Time to celebrate with a great dinner. We went in for the ribs but they were sold out. Let's try the steak? The beer, a light Guiness, hit the spot. The steak was perfectly cooked, medium rare and the sauce made it sing. Good fries and veggies and my spirits rose. Leisurely service worked out nicely. AOK all round.
