Lovely location but sadly it ends there.By 4.20pm this Sunday afternoon they had run out of a number of quite standard ingredients. To be quite honest, if they can't replenish simple ingredients they are either bone idle or incompetent.We dined elsewhere at an establishment that were clearly passionate about their business.

Good food as always, I've been for my birthday and other occasions, and always around 10 ish at night the staff start hovering to clear away and take payment , no problem, but if you are still chatting and want another drink, we have had to scrap around for cash, as staff have cashed up!! My friend who is all in the pub/restaurant trade, could not believe what she was witnessing, as she said " whilst there are customers willing to pay, why the early cashing up, even before the 11.00 pm licence law " - once again this happened last week. Friends I tell are amazed and are put off. Such a shameHi JulieTshropshire. Thank you for your lovely comments regarding the food, we take pride in the food we offer. I thank you for raising the comments about the 'cashing up' and will be investigating this issue as I was not aware. Please be reassured that this will be dealt with and shall not arise again. We called here hoping to get a table and were lucky. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Their recommendations about the food were good and we had a super meal on Saturday evening. Visited Leaking Well today for lunch with my mum and a friend. We were met and seated quickly by our friendly server. We ordered, asking for a few changes. All meals and drinks arrived quickly freshly prepared and lovely and hot, just to our liking. Will definitely return as superb food and service. Thank you for your review.

Five of us dined here for lunch yesterday Wednesday. Me and my partner were disappointed with our meals. I opted for healthy Lasagne with salad instead of garlic bread. The Lasagne was a bit dry for me and the salad was a mixture of wilted lettuce leaves and cucumber and one quarter of a tomato ! I told the waitress that I expected more tomato than this but she came back with the comment that this was the standard portion size for a salad - one quarter of a tomato which I think is pathetic ! My partner had the steak & ale pie which was okay, but once again, reduced portion size on the chips. The peas were dried up miniscule !! We were disappointed after a few good meals since the refurbishment. Meals seem to have drifted back to sloppy standard. Guess it depends on who is in the kitchen on the day ?!!! Our first visit today - Sunday lunch for our granddaughter's birthday. Our son and daughter-in-law had been here a few times, and been impressed. So we're we!It's a bit Tardis-like, the off the pavement entrance into a cosy bar leading through to a bright conservatroy-type area and a back room, then on again to a seated garden area.The food is the best in superb home cooking, very different from the all-to-common, out of a packet, microwaved stuff. And very reasonably priced, too.Oh, and the staff are great - very friendly, welcoming and efficient.Just one small thing mind... The owner is a Wolves supporter, and, as a Baggie of longstanding..... Do you know though, it really doesn't matter, we will definitely be back!Even as an Albion fan you will be more than welcome to return lol. Thank you for your kind review it means a lot

We spent another great evening at The Bay Horse last night. I am really surprised by the previous review. The new landlord is a great bloke and doing a top job. The pub is clean, the food is such good value and the beer is better than ever. The garden is particularly attractive and great for Summer evenings. I fully recommend a visit.

We enjoyed a really good family meal with all of us having different dishes, selected from a comprehensive menu. The food was excellent, there was a good selection of drinks and the service was first class. Thank you for making such a lovely evening for my wife's birthday

For father's day five of us visited The Rock Tavern for Sunday lunch, what an amazing experience, the food was second to none as was the service.As soon as we entered the pub we were made to feel like part of the family. We will be visiting again.

This is a good pub by the canal serving straightforward food with a good beer choice. The menu is not extensive but does have all the favourites. Service was very good and the staff welcoming and friendly. Pricing was reasonable. Ambience very nice.Would certainly eat here again.
