We spent another great evening at The Bay Horse last night. I am really surprised by the previous review. The new landlord is a great bloke and doing a top job. The pub is clean, the food is such good value and the beer is better than ever. The garden is particularly attractive and great for Summer evenings. I fully recommend a visit.

Visited Mimi's recently and enjoyed a delicious omelette with goats cheese and spinach filling, both food and drinks are very reasonably priced . Loved the ambience of the place, they have created a really nice vibe there and I would highly recommend a visit to Mimi's if you are passing through Stourport, we will definitely be paying a return visit!

I would give this place half a star if it was an option. We brought some children here after a farm visit for some lunch before returning them to their parents. We rang ahead to make sure they had availability and a children's menu which they confirmed they had both. We arrived maybe 10 minutes later and was told there was a good 30 minutes wait. We would assume they would of told us this on the telephone but as we were there we agreed we would wait. We ordered straight away due to the children having to get back to their parents. Around 40 minutes had past and we still hadn't received their food so I popped up to the desk to ask for an eta as we planned on been around an hour in total. I was told their was 2 tables in front of us and we would be next in around 15 minutes. I explained we were told 30 minutes wait on food and that we needed to get the children back. The lady said she would have a word with the kitchen and come over to our table to let us know what was happening. By this time we had been waiting for around 45 minutes. A waitress came over abruptly and asked what the problem was. We explained how long we had been waiting and our concern that we still had another 15 minutes to wait according to the lady we previously spoke to. She then replied in a annoyed manner, that she had told us it would be a 30 minute wait (already been 45 plus and other estimated 15 minutes doesn't add up to 30 minutes) we appreciate sometimes things take longer than expected bit the children were all having nuggets and chips which takes minutes and could of be cooked together. We explained that it had been longer than the 30 minutes and we we're wondering of the kitchen were willing to offer something as a good will gesture to appologis for our wait. To which she responded well you can either wait or not wait. She was extremely rude and I have no idea how the hell she works in customer services as she has 0 experience or manners for that matter. I said there was no need for her attitude as it was the kitchen at fault and we out wanted to get the food and go. She said she would give us 4 free drinks for the kids which in total was around £2. Not a fat lot seen as we didn't have time to give the children the free ice cream they should of had with their meals. In total by the time the food came out it had been 90 minutes and the kids were starving. Never again would i come here as I think manners go a long way. And our waitress had none what so ever. Maybe think about changing your staff. I would like to say that there was a young lady tidying away and prepping cutlery was very polite and deserves a medal for working alongside her co-worker

We enjoyed a really good family meal with all of us having different dishes, selected from a comprehensive menu. The food was excellent, there was a good selection of drinks and the service was first class. Thank you for making such a lovely evening for my wife's birthday

Very friendly, clean well kept place to have a catch up with friends. The meals are of a good size, the staff are friendly and will try to cater for your needs. I find this a super quaint bit of Stourport that is not over run with tourist bright lights and candy floss!! Love it

Lovely location on the edge of the main town right next to the canal. Lots of traditional style teas to choose from, cakes, jacket pots, sandwiches etc all yummy. Def worth a visit.

For father's day five of us visited The Rock Tavern for Sunday lunch, what an amazing experience, the food was second to none as was the service.As soon as we entered the pub we were made to feel like part of the family. We will be visiting again.

This is a good pub by the canal serving straightforward food with a good beer choice. The menu is not extensive but does have all the favourites. Service was very good and the staff welcoming and friendly. Pricing was reasonable. Ambience very nice.Would certainly eat here again.

Starter's of Chicken Chat and Chicken Modhubala ( A must try dish ), both really delicious. For mains we tried the Chicken Kashia Lonka, Hara Mirch E Bhagar, both really tasty and spicy. Topped off with Mushroom Pilau Rice, Stuffed Paratha and chips. Really good presentation and excellent service. Definitely the top Indian restaurant in this area.
