Very cool place, with Karaoke on the first floor and disco on the second floor. Not really big, but this seems to be the place to be in Saransk.Entry fee is waived for those staying at the Saransk Hotel. Bar service is a bit slow (but just because the bar is too small...)

I visited for the bar. I ordered the 500ml of local beer 150.This restaurant is very cool and romantic. The waitresses is very very friendly. The Big Pig is a very happening place, with excellent food and great atmosphere. The only drawback is that it very popular so it may be difficult to get a table at pick-hours and that is closes at 24:00.The menu may seem limited (especially if you come often). The appetizers are great, the meat is grilled to perfection, plenty of side dishes to choose from. I did not have a chance to try the desserts, but they looked very good.Decent wine list, reasonably priced.The staff is very kind and professional, the place is "cool" and dynamic. There is also a cool veranda.
