First visit, cannot believe itâs been open for two years and we hadnât discovered it. After receiving a really warm welcome, things just got better. Service is great, every dish (and we tried many - as accompanied by three hungry teenagers who took over the ordering) was absolutely delicious. Everything extremely fresh and beautifully cooked - just canât fault it. Canât wait to go back! Would like to single out a dish but honestly every dish was so tasty.

Thank you for lovely party that you helped us with. It was great and everyone enjoyed the hospitality/food/drinks and all. Your staff is amazing and not sure magic you have done on them - all were doing the job as if it was their party and not just a job that they were doing - amazing motivated team that you have built. Visited on rainy Saturday afternoon. Had some lovely dishes, tasty and good portions. Pau Bhaji, Kema Naan, Chicken Wings, Chilli Mogo and Samosa Chaat. The mogo was overcooked, the marinade was lovely though. Service was not bad, we didnât get asked for top up drinks or water. Could be improved on. The restaurant felt cold, could have done with heating cranked up as the place was only a third full. Would have given it 4/5 but the mogo (pretty easy to get right, service and cold restaurant were my reasons for 3). Weâd visit again so it canât be all bad.

The best Thai food Iâve eaten since I last ate in Thailand itself 100%. All starters, mains and dessert were amazing. The staff are friendly and the service is fast too. The restaurant is large and has a very nice interior. The staff were so welcoming and very professional. A real effort was made. There were some complementary starter snacks which were a nice touch. I found the rest of the food to be underwhelming. The main dish was just like a very average medium curry, despite it being a vindaloo. The flavour wasn't great at all. Maybe it was a bad night as there are many other good reviews here.

Itâs great to see the spirit of the Alpine Tsaretta Spice taking root by The Thames in Leafy England. The cuisine is superlative. The cocktails list is very original. The decor is sophisticated. It's a very small place and it would be best to book. We were welcomed and drinks and poppadums arrived quickly. We did then wait a while for our actual food, but the owner/manager apologised saying they were exceptionally busy as lots of takeaway orders had come at once. I was inclined to feel that customers in the actual restaurant should take precedence, but I suppose Indian restaurants must rely heavily on takeaways to keep going. When our food arrived it was absolutely excellent. I had never had palak pakora chaat, which was deepfried spinach leaves in batter, very crunchy. This would go soggy in a takeaway BTW. The tandoori lamb chops were fantastic, thick, juicy and good value. Onion bahji sizzling and crunchy. We again had an apology for the delay; all the food is freshly cooked to order. We will certainly go here again. There were three or four groups of family with children, and everybody was treated individually. It's more for local residents than a large group of rugby fans who want to mop up their lager fast.

Haidong the owner has extensive experience of big named restaurants, in particular, Nobu. It shows... the food is AMAZING, amongst the best Japanese food I've ever eaten. It's a lovely restaurant, great decor and an intimate, relaxed atmosphere. Plus fab Japanese whiskeys and plum wines! And the team are so friendly. I can't recommend highly enough.

Such a nice evening in Umi; the service is very attentive, personal but not in your face. It is exactly right. We enjoyed the Kaisa salad as a starter, crunchy wirh a fresh peanut dressing. The other starters were also very good. The main rolls were spot on and because it is all freshly prepared the few changes we asked for were not a problem. Thank you Bobby and team for a fantastic evening!.
