We got take out food from here last night. Had a good ordering experience and struck up fun rapport with Abdul who answered the phone. Food was ready when we went to pick up and I had no issues getting the â10% discount for cashâ. We ordered CTM and two vegetarian dishes, along with rice, popodoms and naans. All food was excellent, not at all oily, and full of flavor. All our dishes were tasty, but could have been a little spicier for our tastes. Good value for the price and quality of food. We will definitely go back.

Nearly six years of living near this old, tired and traditional Chinese have failed to reveal who owns this seedy Chinese in back-street Bourton. The staff are pleasant enough, but speak little English and are persistently unwilling to engage with their customers. Food is average but decor of dining room and toilets ....ugh! Now rebranded â Bamboo Villageâ with a new and more expensive menu, this place needs updating by owners with a vision and commitment to 21st century standards - far more than a new glossy menu is required. I would welcome a response to this review, but doubt whether one will be forthcoming

Went with husband and dad. Their hospitality makes you feel at home, even though this was our first time. The management is extremely humble, courteous and experienced. Their food is comparable to any 5* fine dining standard. The cooking medium was extremely healthy and fresh, you can always tell. They give personal attention to each customer. Although it was a busy weekend, we didn't feel neglected, food was no time, served hot and with a warm smile and a short conversation that we really enjoyed. We will recommend this to anyone traveling to Cotswold or who live there locally. We were not locals but wish we were so that we could become their regulars.

Again on arrival, brilliant, friendly, ,discreet attentive service throughout.Very clean, well decorated in all areas of the restaurant.Food, very fresh, appealing on presentation and vey tasty.Highly recommended, wished we lived nearer to visit more often, but is that a good or bad wish?,

Had a meal at the spice lounge on our recent trip to Burford and we were not disappointed.The restaurant was extremely clean, a great welcome and efficient friendly service. The meal was well presented, tasty and not either too slow or too rushed, the drinks were good and we had a jug of water for the table that arrived almost as soon as we sat down.The menu was not too big although the variety on offer more than adequate and the prices about average for the area, all in all a great meal and we would surely visit again if we ever end up back in Burford!!!Dear Alex RThank you for leaving a lovely review.We are pleased that you had an enjoyable evening with us.
