Duk Duk is very much based on the lines of the popular 'Pad Thai' food chain, where you select a 'base' of noodles or rice with your preference, and then add the meat on top, again with a very good choice including pork, beef, chicken, fish, tofu (!) or duck. The idea is straightforward, there are some 10 base dishes to choose from, then you only pay depending on the meat on top. We all seemed to go for the 'pad thai' noodle base, which includes fried egg and crushed peanuts.The food was extremely tasty, you can use chopsticks or traditional cutlery, and add chili or soy as you desire.Although the place is advertised as a 'take-out', they have tables, some of which are located in the quiet square right in front of the restaurant. We sat there and enjoyed their honey lemon, genmai, and original Oishi green tea as we waited to be served, The weather was brilliant and we really enjoyed it. Will definitely return!

This place is a quandary. When I went the place was busy - but not jammed, so I was seated promptly. It is an all-you-can eat Asia food buffet of Chinese, Mongolian, and some Japanese influence.Being a buffet, the food is to be expected less-than-stellar, and i was not disappointed. Exotic meats (Kangaroo, Zebra) await for those who wish to have some items grilled Mongolian-style. I could not find simple beef or chicken. I would say the most disparaging thing about this place was the staff. Always busy, always buzzing from station to station - but always looking at their iPad tablets - even when you're talking to them.5 out of 10.

... on Good Friday there were five of us in the Meersalz. The service was charming and courteous. We ordered two 6-course menus and one 5-course menu, otherwise three courses a la carte each. Wine recommendation was excellent, both the white wine (Veltliner) and the Margaux Favarel. So there is absolutely nothing to complain about. If it had not been for a small thing... When paying the bill, at least 430⬠with tip, I could not resist to ask for the "free farewell drink" of the house. That was taken up by our charming service employee and immediately communicated to the management. She was sent back with the statement, "something like this is not taken into account by us", which was obviously a shame for her. Actually really a pity, because it would have been a small gesture for three, two had to drive anyway and hadn't drunk anything the whole time, so also no real effort. The team in service and kitchen did a huge job, thanks for a nice experience. Management, just think about it ;-) That is only a four star rating.

The restaurant is located on the city's favorite promenade and offers delicious and varied Thai food. The service is professional and there is also internet. Parking is not simple but it is worth the effort. The value is good. We really enjoyed it. recommended.
