The Borough of Chaguanas is the largest borough (83,516 at the 2011 census) and fastest-growing town in Trinidad and Tobago. Located in west-central Trinidad, south of Port of Spain, north of Couva and San Fernando, named after the indigenous tribe who originally settled there, it grew in size due to its proximity to the Woodford Lodge sugar refinery. It remained a minor town until the 1980s when it began to grow rapidly as it drew people for its bargain shopping and moderately-priced housing. Visited for dinner to satisfy our craving for Hakka's food with delightfully intricate and unique flavours all delivered with exceptional customer service in a cozy amazing ambience!Hats off to our server Mr Agenon who delivered the best service we have ever experienced in Trinidad & Tobago! We've been to Hakka many times before but this time we had the best service.The hot and sour soup as well as the wantons are mouthwatering! Just go, don't think twice!

Food is excellent here as always. Service is average depending on who you get to serve you. There is timely arrival of food, wonderful ambience especially around Christmas time. However, if you are looking to spend quality time with your significant other, Fridays and Saturdays tend to have a noisy crowd on evenings

So pleasantly surprised with the delicious ,mouth watering vegetarian and carnivorous options here. Loved the tandoori chicken with saffron coloured rice biryani and pickled salad /vegetables Great prices Limited parking Decent decor Pleasant staff The desserts looked enticing but I was so stuffed I just couldnât take a bite further. Will have to return to sample further

Had dinner with family and enjoyed it. Hakha was tasty. One can choose the level of spice.. regular, medium or hot. Portions are quite adequate and the prices are great.Staff very friendly and patient with your orders. They do have Buffet on Fridays only and it is worth trying.

Eponymous tandoori chicken was not the best, somewhat dry, but khurma and butter chicken were abulous, as were nons and samosas, and very good gulab jamun. The staff was very helpul and pointed out where one can buy the best Indian spices or which Trinidad is famous bearing in mind Indiasn settles mid 19th century.
