My excuse for taking my son to cricket matches is to be able to discover good food in the vicinity! I googled nearby restaurants and come across Kailash Momo - absolute hidden gem as mentioned already. Washed down Chilli Fried Momo with Gurkha beer, greedily ordered Chilli Chichen - very sumptuous portions so had to pack it home with an additional portion of Chilli Momos! Wonderful service, Great authentic food at fantastic price - will definitely take my son to play cricket in Blackheath, London!!

Lots to choose from on the menu, in fact too much to choose from! Served quickly. However, distinct lack of prawns in one dish ordered. Meat also thin on the ground, dishes swimming in sauces, rather than main ingredients. Dishes expensive, both mains, rice and side dishes. Wouldnât return in a hurry.

This was our first time to the Himalayan spice in sidcup. It was an ad-hoc visit early evening on a Sunday. It's located slightly off the beaten track - I never knew it existed until I searched on the tastecard app - so it's a real hidden gem. Decor is nice, but more importantly (for us) the service and flavours were really good. There was no issues catering for our 3 year old son by amending dishes to make them milder - and allowing him to setup a little train track around the table!I can personally recommend the lamb shank rohan Josh and the tikka butter chicken, both of which were well seasoned and spiced, with bags of flavour. The pashwari nann and lemon rice were perfect accompaniments. Also we accidentally forgot our card and the response was far from expected, considering previous experience - just ring us with the details when you get home Well done Himalayan Spice, we'll be back.

If practise makes perfect, then the curries at Curry Mahal deserve an A+. Located on the Station Road in Sidcup, Curry Mahal restaurant has been serving up superb Indian cuisine since 1968, and the recently refurbished dining room is always popular with r
The food was unbelievable, had the garlic prawns for starter, chicken tikka masala, pilau rice and the bombay aloo, the chicken tikka masla was so flavoursome and went perfect with the plain naan! The food was much nicer than any other curry house in Sidcup & much more reasonably priced. The service was impeccable and they were so friendly, cannot recommend this place enough
