It is the only municipality in Utrecht located south of the Lek River. Before 2002 it was part of the province of South Holland. Vianen is bordered by two major motorways leading to Utrecht: the A2 (Amsterdam-Maastricht) on its west, and the A27 (Breda-Almere) just east of the town. Both roads can be notoriously congested near Vianen during peak commute hours.

Although we couldnt speak dutch, the waitress lolly was very helpful & I had a fantastic peppered steak which was cooked perfectly, fries & salad, also got a top up of salad without charge, bar/restaurant brilliantly decorated & loved the night there !!

Al menig positieve ervaring gehoord over dit nieuwe restaurant dus we hadden relatief hoge verwachtingen. Onze verwachtingen zijn zeker waar gemaakt. Verrassende kaart, heerlijk eten (voor Nieuwegein zeker vernieuwend) en een op en top gastheer. Wij komen zeker weer!

Ter gelegenheid van mijn verjaardag koffie met appeltaart in een nieuwe locatie op City Plaza. Alles heel lekker. De koffietent ziet er van binnen mooi en bijzonder uit. Helaas is nog geen mogelijkheid om naar het toilet te gaan en is er ook nog geen wifi.

What can I say. There are no words to describe the quality and tastefulness of these spareribs. If you could earn any Michelin stars with spareribs, Joe could definitely decorate his whole kitchen with shining stars. It's a shame he has nog restaurant to seat people, yet. But I'm sure his time will come. Already, people are flying in to Nieuwegein from all over, just to take home some babyribs from Joe and his wife. Of course they also serve some more delicious grilled food, but the baby ribs are the ones you want to try. Whenever you're around, try them,.you won't regret it! We'll keep coming, hopefully for many years to come. (This is a take away restaurant only!)Thank you very much for this nice review!!

A pearl. In one word, amazing. Absolutely worth a visit.Saturday, December the 29th. At 17.00, by phone, the very friendly staff informed us bright and clear about a special promotion. Immediately weâve made an on-line reservation which was quick and easy and directly confirmed by email. At 19.30 we were very warm and friendly invited by the hard working and friendly staff. Two ladies who combine hard working with hospitality. Remarkable: real and natural hospitality. For that: absolute 10 points out of 10. The interior of the restaurant feels âlike homeâ. We quickly felt comfortable. From every table you have a good overview including the âopenâ kitchen. Also 10 points out of 10. Our choice, the Spare Ribs menu, was quickly served. In one word: Delicious. Very tasty marinated spareribs, home made French fries and a superb salad. And, it has to be said, big portions. They also serve draft beer from the brand Hertog Jan, without a doubt one of the best beers you can get in the Netherlands (how good can life be ?) Defenitely 10 points out of 10. After the dinner weâve had a nice and interesting conversation with René, one of the two owners. Quickly things became clear. So much energy, enthousiasm and empathy for the work and the staff, that has to lead to something fantastic. And it does. Everything for the customers. Food prepared with natural and fresh ingredients. Initially we came to IJsselstein for the beautifully illuminated, more than 370 meter long transmitter tower. Worldâs highest Christmastree. Besides of this âmiracleâ we were lucky to find this restaurant. We do wish everybody who is âconnectedâ with this restaurant a healthy and good 2019. We really hope that many people will find your restaurant. Until next time, because such a nice restaurant at a distance of 45 km from means for us: Not far from home.
