Stopped here for lunch on our way to Cambutal, and what a great choice! The whole fried fish was phenomenal, and the pineapple sauce was like nothing Iâve seen in Panama thus far. My only complaint is that they keep and train birds, which I think is unethical, but par for the course in Panama.

This is a cute little place in the heart of downtown Pedasi. Very simple decor but pretty good food. Burger is good and so is the fried shrimp. Beer on tap is also tasty. This place is definitely worth a visit.

A friend told me about this recently opened restaurant (about 1-2 months ago). It is located behind the gas station as you enter Pedasi. I was there in the early afternoon and wanted a lunch. The menu included hamburgers, buffalo wings, chicken fingers and one or two other items. There is also about ten different items on the dinner menu ranging in price from $9-$15. I ordered a hamburger with swiss cheese. I was presently surprised when the burger arrived. It was about 6-8 oz. not the typical 2-4 oz. Panama burger. The bun was also warm and the meat was a good quality. I also had a fruit drink and the bill was $8. My next trip to Pedasi I will try the dinner menu. I hope this restaurant is around for some time. As Pedasi grows hopefully more restaurant choices will be available.
