This space faces the central square of this classic Mexican seaside town but the tables are set at the back in a cool, white-painted courtyard. The owner is American and she hires only fluent english speakers as wait staff. Full a la carte menu means side dishes are seperately p riced from the short list of main courses. This was the only place in town that offered enchiladas in the style familiar to a canadian diner. Black table cloths offset by magnolia? napkins sets a far more formal tone than the beachside eateries. To top off the evening we sampled an Elvis Pie- peanut butter and banana on an Oreo crust- this alone justified the visit.

Situated right on the beach, I found a beautiful little family friendly restaurant run by a Canadian Gal "Corrine".. Lovely lady, lovely restaurant. Featuring a bar and an art gallery with handmade crafts, Peurto Del Sol offers a full menu from 10am til 10 pm daily, with the snack bar open from 10pm til 12am. Entertainment is provided nightly during the season. Go ahead and try.. you won't be disappointed. The views are wonderful, and the sunsets divine.

We have been here several times. Have had dorado, tuna and shrimp dishes. All have been very good. This is in a new building on a corner. It's clean and bright inside. There are two waiters and they both speak English.

We visited Roosters because we read in a review that if you asked they adapted dishes for vegetarians but were a bit disappointed. The only choice was the Sopa Atzteca and we were not offered any alternative by the not-too friendly waitress. That said, the soup was very nice, but the only thing on the menu we could eat.

Esmeralda very personable. Not busy for breakfast. It was okay, but not super. Noticed that there were "regulars" at this venue. Involved in community with "Open Mike" opportunities and other benefits.

I went to bananas with my whole family. Fast service, excelent hasbrowns. Mary and the staff are really nice. Nice place to have breakfast.
