We used to come to this location often for many years. We moved to Barrie and now frequent that location. We have never in 14 years had a bad or mediocre meal at either location. Stopped in tonight on the way home from TO. Must have hit an off night tonight because our ribs were dry & overcooked. My daughter's apples & fries were lukewarm. Disappointed as it was a very expensive ($175) mediocre meal. Probably should have sent it all back but didn't. On the positive side, our server Kyle was great. I would like to begin by apologizing for the unfortunate experience that you and your family had here at our establishment. I would like to take this opportunity to assure you that our company stands for excellence in service, and food quality. Our motto "No compromise on quality" is something that all our staff and management understand and adhere to. How disappointing. I specifically went to this restaurant as a result of memories of a salmon I had here once. They did not have that so I ventured to have their fish tacos. It was awful. The fish had zero seasoning other than the topping. A bland taco- who would have thought? Apparently it is possible. As it's side kick, a lonely boiled broccoli was served in a sterile white bowl in a puddle of water. Again zero seasoning. Decided to go to jack astors on Saturday and watch the hockey game and grab some pub food. The food was good and the service was very good. Televisions everywhere and there is not a bad seat in the house. We had a great time and the crowd of people was really a great mix.

Back again for a wonderful night, started slow as our table wasn't ready, James sat us at the bar and then all uphill from there. My sons birthday drink a Whiskey Sour (perfect) awesome bartender gentleman nailed all our drinks and woo'ed us for dinner. Table ready in a few minutes and Timo was on the ball. Over all excellent food, service and memorable as always. Please please keep up the fantastic work and we will be telling all our friends! Just awesome

This is a restaurant we found by accident in Vaughan. Just off Hwy 7 close proximitiy of Ikea. Lots of menu choices. We had the small hot roast beef sandwiches. The portions are very generous! The milkshakes are so much like you would get at Woolworthâs. Staff are very friendly. Lots of old duke boxes, plaques and other memoriabilia, Take a step back in time. It is well worth it.

A small free standing roadhouse that looks like a shack located in the middle of nowhere on a main street. Blink when you drive by and you'll surely miss it. Somewhat limited parking available in rear. Very limited seating inside perpetuating the backwoods ambiance even more. Behind the counter and wait staff are extremely friendly, always smiling,making you feel welcome. Our Mini Combos were huge hits each consisting of four melt in your mouth, fall off the bone, meaty BBQ ribs covered in the house sauce. Six golden brown, crispy BBQ wings accompany the ribs. Each order also came with golden brown fries, crispy on the outside, mealy on the inside, a cup of baked beans, a cup of coleslaw and a slice of corn bread. Continuously busy, so table wait times may be long. Will definitely be returning here.

Beautiful restaurant and looks relatively new.Upscale menu and nice atmosphere including an outdoor patio.But our steaks, which were ordered medium well, were a bit burnt on the bottom and tougher than I would have expected. Baked potato was excellent however pas was the bread.Service was friendly, but not very attentive. Twice we had to ask for drink refills.Overall, an OK meal - just not great. Good atmosphere! For the meal, I tried the ribs with slaw & fries; here's my take:Slaw - rated D- Yes, barely passing. It's just shredded cabbage. The other guys get at least a "C" for simply paying attention. With just a modicum of dressing, I could raise the rating to a C- .Ribs - rated B- The "A" players insist upon pork that falls off the bone. My opinion is that these ribs came off the food service truck.Fries - WOW - A+ Seriously. What a great combination of taste & texture. Crisp, undulated exterior with appropriate seasoning & a pleasing core. They should offer these as a sandwich. Really. I've never had fries like this before. Don't *even* reach for the ketchup -- they're *that* good.

Located at one end of a commercial/industrial building with lots of parking. Lobby ambiance is that of a cowboy/western theme with ample seating. Very large menu to choose from. Our half rack Ribs and half rack wings orders were quite large. Ribs were huge and even wings were big in size. Ribs were not melt off the bone type but rather very chewy both because of size and the way they were cooked. Were not hot temperature wise and all taste was from the sauce alone. Wings were quite big, hot temperature wise but again all taste was from the sauce alone. Fries were nice size and golden colour, crispy on the outside and mealy on the inside. Slaw was a nice size but quite watery. The big sized portions of everything justified the high menu prices for size but not for taste quality.

Tonight we decided to spend our anniversary dinner at the Keg. As always the food was delicious plentiful and hot. The service was excellent and the establishment has a really nice ambience. The place was almost full and it was a gorgeous evening. We sat near the open windows and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.Salina was one of our servers and was very polite, friendly and efficient. She used to be a hostess and now is an excellent server.Great bay for an wonderful dinner.We usually frequent this establishment once a month and will continue to do so.Thanks for the sparkler and cake.
