Wonderful place for a beach retreat
Reviewed By drnorthI am not a beach person at all, but i thought it would be nice on my trip along the coast of West Africa to spend a nice somewhere just relaxing by the sea. the Auberge was perfect. The setting is lovely. Lots of places to relax by the sea. There is a good restaurant and bar for spending the evening. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a nice little pool. I stayed in one of the rooms in the big house. It was rustic, but clean and comfortable. I was on the 2nd floor and loved having the wide balcony entrance with great sea breezes. You have to bring your own soap etc, but i had so that was not an issue. The wifi was hit and miss but I was still able to connect. I would stay there again.

I will definitely make the journey from Lagos just to experience this home away from home again. The rooms are extremely clean, and comfortable and have lovely views on the upper floors. The only sound that will wake you are the birds in the morning! Thank you, Alex, Noah, Sandrine, and the team for a wonderful weekend away!

Reviewed By simsid2014Millenium Popo Beach Hotel, is a few distance to the Togo boarder. its located between Cotonu and the boarder of Togo. Hotel provide ambiance environments with great pools and open ground. Rooms are spacious but wifi is very poor. Will rate hotel 2.5/5

A single disappointment!
Reviewed By Hans PThis is not to blame the personnel who was in general friendly and tried to do their best. But apparently the management does nothing in order to satisfy the customer. When we arrived the room was not ready despite the fact that it was announced one week before. The automatic room door did not work at all; after several trials we were given a normal key. Air condition did not work; it was not possible to open the windows because they were not protected with nets in order to avoid mosquitoes coming in. Power broke down in the middle of the night and did not come back until our departure. There was no hot water (they told us because of the lack of sunshine ...). Meals were not sufficient to satisfy a hungry stomach. Additionnally, they were not hot at all. The WiFi was slow; mostly, it did not work. We planned to have a nice weekend. What a deception! Never again!
