A real taste of Italy
Reviewed By SVT2012We were taken by our Italian friends to this beautiful 12th century converted farmhouse for lunch. The setting is stunning, the welcome is warm and the food is fantastic. The chef Marco is world class and the food is the best we have had since our arrival in Italy a month ago. They also have beautiful accommodation and a pool on the grounds. The design is a perfect mix of old world with modern conveniences. We will stay overnight next time so we can also enjoy their breakfast.

Reviewed By mattavatravelMatthew and I stayed at this bed & breakfast with his grandparents and had the most amazing experience. Angelo and his wife were the nicest and most helpful people!! We had an amazing breakfast every morning followed along with an incredible view. They also have a beautiful backyard with a pool that guests are welcome to use. This bed & breakfast is beautiful, fun, and so relaxing. We 100% recommend staying here!

Reviewed By bikerchick39I had a lovely stay here. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. In fact the whole village is very friendly. I was really surprised with how lovely the village was, I just expected a small place to stop over and was very surprised when I entered the village. The Locanda was perfect. The room was very comfortable and traditionally furnished . I had dinner here as well and it was just delicious, all home cooked and probably one the best meals I had in my 18 days in Italy. The host was very helpful and accommodating, I felt very comfortable here.

Balducci's House B & B offers its guests 3 double bedrooms; their names are Asia, Africa and Europe. The room Asia has a large private bath with steam shower. The Chamber Africa has a French door that allows access to the large balcony that surrounds the house. The room is equipped with private bathroom, but it shares with the Chamber Europe, too 'it with French door.

I was trying to extend my stay in Mercatello sul Metauro for three days and happened to find this place, Casa Balducci, and what a luxurious setting, and stay I had!! Maurizio was exemplary in his hosting, and the breakfast was incredible! The room I stayed in was clean, pristine and super comfortable revealing the character and culture of the Italian people and their world travels. This B&B belongs in Architectural Digest as a simplistically comfortable, yet stellar form, shape and visual array of beauty and balance in design!!! The breakfast in the mornings was delicious and filled with fresh fruit (plums) off of the garden tree, yogurt and home baked fresh apple pastry!!!! I received great advice on directions for sites to see, and assistance to Tuscany! If you stay at Casa Balducci you will not be disappointed! - Tara V.

Reviewed By Nicolam47Abbiamo soggiornato con la mia famiglia per 3 giorni e 2 notti in questo bell'agriturismo immerso nelle colline marchigiane al ci fine con l'Umbria e ne siamo rimasti soddisfatti. Agriturismo con allevamenti biologici di razze bovine. Qualche asino e qualche capretta stuzzicano la curiosità dei clienti che vengono accontentati per ogni esigenza dalla gestrice Claudia o semplicemente abbandonati al relax e alla contemplazione del paesaggio circostante. Una piccola ma bella piscina ci ha rinfrescato nella giornata più calda mentre la sera i siamo goduti un ottima cena....finalmente con prodotti veramente locali e pietanze particolari rispetto alla norma di tutti gli altri agriturismi ( menzione speciale per la coratella e la trippa). Unica pecca il wi fi non funzionante e la poca presenza di linea telefonica, ma forse è stato anche un pregio, qui ci si gode la natura il relax e la sorprendente cucina.

Accoglienza e servizi offerti ineccepibili, pulizia e grande disponibilità. Lo consiglio per chi ama evadere dalla pazza folla, per provare il contatto sereno con il silenzio della natura, pur rimanendo a pochi passi da un centro che anche se piccolo offre molto(il paese è raggiungibile anche a piedi ed ha supermercato, ristorante, pizzeria,...)
