If you ask any local, it's the best pizza - I must admit, they are right! Friendly stuff and nice atmosphere with good food and local beers made it for me! I love pizza and I have tried many kinds, but this one was different - definitely worth trying! I also highly advice a plate of salami and cheese! If you are into spirits, don't miss their homemade Prugnolino!

à la classica trattoria "di una volta", dove si mangia bene spendendo il giusto. Il locale è molto retró, forse troppo, peró il cibo é ottimo: era da tempo che non mangiavo delle tagliatelle cosà buone. Deliziosa anche la bistecca, tenera o cotta alla perfezione. Personale gentile.

Very nice and cozy place in the heart of Mercatello. Top pizza in town :-) I got a super tasty pizza with radish gorgonzola cheese and speck. Nice people and service. Absolutely suggested!!

Barbara Ristorante Pizzeria is located adjacent to the road between Mercatello sul Metauro and Da Sant' Angelo in Vado in Marche country. When we first visited late on a Sunday it was packed with dozens of local diners and we had to return another day. Barbara's popularity with the people of Marche is consistent with its strong tripadvisor performance. The restaurant bills itself as serving "typical Marche cuisine" and we were not disappointed with the superb scaloppine al a funghi or the simply presented but very tasty strozzapreti pasta. It also claims fine white truffles as a house speciality. Reservations are advised to ensure you get a table.

We have been to this restaurant a number of times when visiting the region. Umberto is a great host and the food is excellent. Make sure you ask "what is best today". There are local speciality's depending on the season - strozzapretti, chinghale, tartufo, tagliata....The restaurant is a part of a 4 room Locanda Sacchi

We went for dinner with a group of friends and had both a great night and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The food was typical of the region and represented what was fresh at the time. Some quite unique dishes!

A great local agriturisimo near Mercatello - we have been intending to have a meal here for three years and are so pleased that we have and indeed we will do so again! The value for money was fantastic and the quality of the meal and service was great. Local ecialities - pasta, antipasti, roast rabbit, mascarpone .... Excellent.
