Reviewed By onehandspeaksI picked this resort based on other reviews and I am glad I did. I am on a pilgrimage to the Birthplace of Buddha and the Maya Devi Temple. As soon as I arrived I was greeted with the staff's smiling faces. I was taken to the dinning room to relax and get something to drink. From that moment the staff was very attentive, responsive, and kind. The room was extremely clean and the air conditioner worked great. This is important due to the high temperatures in Lumbini. Each morning I was amazed and filled with joy as to the variety and sounds of all the birds in the resort's peaceful courtyard. The only thing better than the birds singing in the morning, was the quality of the food. WOW!! Everything was delicious. I decided to take a Tuk Tuk each way to Maya Devi Temple and the resort was happy to call for one every time. I did not want to walk the distance to the sacred garden grounds in the Lumbini heat. Overall I had a fantastic experience at the Lumbini Buddha Garden Resort.

Good Location for Visiting Lumbini
Reviewed By TaranitaHandy for visiting Lumbini. Very nice and helpful staff. I left early on the final morning, and the staff made me a packed breakfast to take on my coach trip to Kathmandu. Cold at night with no heating. Restaurant with varied manu, and decent breakfast.

Reviewed By Suman XThey had good rooms with updated amenities and location was also great but unfortunately the fnb service staffs were very unfriendly and food was also not satisfying especially I'm amazed when I ask for bowl for lentil soup, service staff handed me small plastic cup and told me that they don't have bowel in their hotel.As I'm also from hospitality business this type of service attitude is not good for near coming future. At least hotel have to train their staffs about service manners.

Reviewed By EvaPaoThe room was clean, good size with comfortable bed, fan and air-conditioning. Breakfast with tea, omelette, bread, jam and butter is included in the price. Staff very kind. Excellent value for money! Very close to bus stop and monastic zone.

We are accurately 2.5 Km away from the Indian border Sunauli and 2.5 km away from the Gautam Buddha Airport of Bhairahawa. Following our traditions, we believe in our teachings "Atithi Devo Bhawa" which means “Guest is god”. With the same belief we would like to invite you to Hotel Nansc lumbin.
Improved service this time
Reviewed By prembdrranaNearly a year after, I stayed at Nansc. Unlike last time where I was given a room where air-conditioner was not working, bathroom tap dripping all night despite informing to fix it and very pathetic breakfast (an omelette and 2 slices of toast) on B&B package, this time the room was clean, fresh, no issues with bathroom nor air conditioner and amazingly a good breakfast. So this time quite satisfied with the service.

Great Value For The Price
Reviewed By Felicity LI'm a solo woman traveller with problems with my legs, and the staff at this hotel were super helpful. They are located 100 meters from the bus station and carried my bag back to the hotel for me, then found me a room on the ground floor. They advised me on local prices, cooked for me, and helped me book a bus and taxi to Chitwan. All nice management, I even sat in the back garden with them drinking beers and feeding chickens. I see there have been some bad reviews previously, but Vishnu tells me he has only been running President for the last year and has made a lot of improvements. It is a budget hotel, but with real sprung mattresses and worth every rupee just for the good nights sleep!
