Wir haben nach einer Wanderung hier Kaffee und Kuchen bestellt. Da das Wetter schön war, setzten wir uns nach drauÃen. Ich erzählte meinem Mann spaÃeshalber, dass man früher in Dorfrestaurants drauÃen immer ein Kännchen statt einer Tasse Kaffee bestellen musste, was ihm unbekannt war, da man es scheinbar nur in Norddeutschland so handhabt. Was haben wir gelacht, als die Bedienung mit zwei Kännchen herauskam und wir im Nachhinein sogar noch ein Schild 'drauÃen nur Kännchen' entdeckten. Wen das also stört, sollte lieber nicht drauÃen Kaffee trinken. Den Preis für umgerechnet drei Tassen Kaffee fanden wir mit 3,40⬠aber nicht zu teuer. Die Auswahl an frischen Kuchen war hervorragend, wir konnten uns gar nicht entscheiden und haben dann beide ein Stück Sektschaumtorte für je 2,60⬠genommen. Sie schmeckte herrlich. Wen es also nicht stört in einem typischen Dorfrestaurant mit der älteren Klientel Kaffee zu trinken und drauÃen ein Kännchen zu nehmen, dem ist der Gasthof Klefoth-Holtgreve zu empfehlen.

I am a guest of this cafe from the beginning. So I spent many time in this cafe. Unfortunately I had to notice that the service had seen better times. Today I asked for their special ice tea with blackberry flavor. Unfortunately not in service today. I switched to pomegranate flavor. Same effect. Not in service today. So i switched to a bottled mango juice. After 10 minutes of waiting I got this drink. The long waiting time is not understandable as there had been enough staff and only very few guests... Choosing the cake deal was as well not a very good idea as I got my coffee in time but not my cake. After 15 minutes I asked for my cake. The waiter had forgotten the cake. I do not hope that this poor service will be the standard for my next visits as I originally was a fan of this cafe chain... So lets hope for better times :(
