Reviewed By Brad CVery different experience for a North American traveler. Visa credit card would not work as they cannot use the chip function. Difficulty understanding menu. Hotel was showing it's age in places and reminded me of an Eastern Bloc country style of construction and others in our group agreed. Hotel staff had major difficulty speaking English and were slightly hesitant to help. Shower was great and bathroom was large and clean. The hotel room was quite large also with an apartment size fridge. Not the same atmosphere (friendly) that we experienced on our 1200km trip through Ecuador.

Reviewed By theodoreo953It was my first time in Quevedo, I stayed for two nights and I loved the suite room, it's cozy and warm it's perfect if you need to work in home, the internet it's pretty good, the nature and the birds make it all look like a nice dream.

WAY TO THE ANDES
Reviewed By ANDRES VIt is a good value for money hostal, I did stop over a couple of time on my way to the capital Quito. Friendly staff, good car park facilities and decent breakfast (I manage to get it in to my room at no extra cost, wonder if standard for every one); the room and the bathroom are clean and well equipment. Took some photos to share, highly recommended for a business o family trip.

Reviewed By Joyce vWij waren op doorreis van Montañita naar La Maná en kozen ervoor 1 nacht te verblijven in hotel Riverside, mede vanwege de lage prijs. Bij aankomst vroeg ik de taxichauffeur of hij zeker wist dat we op de juiste locatie waren beland, aangezien het hotel er heel verlaten uitzag; het leek een spookhotel. Bij binnenkomst zaten er wel 20 politieagenten binnen, wat ik ook een beetje vreemd vond, maar die blijken er vanwege de lage prijs ik grote getallen te overnachten. Het water in de douche was ijskoud; niet fijn na een hele dag reizen. In de nacht erg slecht geslapen doordat diverse mensen bij de ingang van het hotel buiten zaten en erg luidruchtig waren; dit duurde tot 5 a half 6 in de ochtend. De ingang was helaas recht onder onze kamer waardoor we er middenin leken te zitten. Al met al geen comfortabel verblijf. De kamer was echter wel schoon en de prijs ook erg goed, daarom 2 sterren. Overnachten in Quevedo? Betaal iets meer en geniet van een betere nachtrust (hopelijk).
