This Indonesian island has a high point that Bali can’t match: Mount Rinjani, an active volcano with a massive lake inside its caldera. An early morning hike lets you watch the sun rise over the sea.

Reviewed By jackbarlow98Staff: there presence wasn’t very good, every time we needed anything, we would head to reception to be greeted by a group of 5-10 friends who were just having a laugh. On our first day I asked where I could by water and they sent me to the port (complete other side of the island), when coming back I realised that they sold water themselves and were just taking the mick out of us, not the best first impression. Room: the room was a good size and the bath room was very good with a warm shower. Only downfall was it was slightly dated. Facilities: a lovely swimming pool but the water is warm which doesn’t help cool down in the heat! They had a small breakfast area which wasn’t fantastic but did they job. Location: literally 15 yards from the beach which is good but extremely difficult to get to the port with your bags unless your happy to travel by horse and cart.

Reviewed By baugh1409This place has a nice ground/garden with javanese arhitecture...They have very nice joglo restaurant, a swimming pool and an indoor and outdoor spa rooms. We had one hour aromatic traditional massage which was super nice and relaxing. Two tumbs up for my therapist Eddy who was really good and friendly as well. I will definitely comeback here.

Lutwala Dive and Bungalows is a full service dive resort located on the north side of Gili Trawangan. We have 6 bungalows that can be set up as two twin beds or one double bed. Each room has a private balcony, hot fresh water, air conditioning, ceiling fan, in room safe, full breakfast and a pool for bungalow guests only. WE have a total of 3 swimming pools on the property and the front of the property is directly on the beach. We have a bar and cafe on site as well as complimentary coffee, tea and water in the dive center. There is snorkeling gear available for rent as well as bicycles. Wifi is available on the entire property. There is a book exchange and a generator for power due to frequent power cuts on the island. If you are staying with us you get great discounts on diving as well! Airport transfers to/from Bali and Lombok can easily be arranged.

Reviewed By Carter DWhile on Gili T, my hostel burned down and me and my friends lost everything we had including our passports and we were extremely fortunate because this hotel let us stay for as long as we wanted for basically free. They helped us get all the supplies we needed and were extremely friendly. They were very helpful and the resort was stunning. When I come back to Gili T this is where I am coming back to! Amazing place with amazing staff!

Comfort on a Budget
Reviewed By Harry JWe stayed here with friends for 3 days and overall it was great! There were a couple of hiccups with room allocation and maintenance but these were resolved quickly and in a friendly manner by the staff. The breakfast choices are really varied and the food menu is well priced during the day and evening. Fantastic sunset from the beach bar and they also offer the cheapest snorkelling trip on the island. We would stay here again and our friends have already extended their stay.

Nice bungalow on a quiet location
Reviewed By FrankvanOdielYou get your own cottage with mosquito net. Necessary. Very good bed and quiet aircon. Bathroom is outside and spacious. There was no contact with the owner, but a young boy was there all the time. He was not that good in speaking English, but very friendly. Quiet location during the night, but so is the whole island.
