Only 350 meters from our front door is the lift to the Lofer Skialm, which won the Austrian Family-Ski center nomination in 2012. Footsteps from our Haus are 80km of walking paths, with a further 300km of scenic hiking tracks for either a leisurely stroll or an ambitious climb; there are 480km of well-marked, traffic-free cycling routes and Mountain bike tracks; there is a public swimming pool, whitewater kayaking and rafting, golf, and much, much more.
Excellent stay during our ski holiday
Reviewed By sebashekWe had a very pleasant stay at Haus Patricia. The 'lady of the house' is very kind and helpful. The rooms were very clean. They've thought of every little detail. Hospitality is 10 out of 10. Location is - as advertised - not more than 300 meters to the ski area.

Euch erwarten eine entspannte Atmosphäre, viel Inspiration, Boho-Chic und spanisch/internationale Küche. Manchmal sind wir laut, manchmal leise. Frühstück gibt es bei uns ALL DAY LONG und Dienstag + Freitag feiern die "LA FIESTA STOANA" . Bei uns im hangout&hotel - der Steinerwirt findet jeder seinen Platz. Wir freuen uns auf Euch!

We were warmly welcomed and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Especially in times of Corona we felt so comfortable and in good hands as there was enough space and everything was extremely clean. The food was extremely good and we love the Austrian wine ;-) Great location, great concept and extremely well run. We will be back!!!! Many thanks to the great team

Beautiful location and perfect hosts
Reviewed By Grover1665During a month long trip into Europe Lofer became a great stop over for us. Not knowing the area we booked a couple of nights at the Farberhaus and were not disappointed in the least. Our hosts were lovely, warm and kind and offered a great place to stay and explore the area. Situated by a fast flowing river and with and amazing views of the surrounding mountains we slept like a log and had a brilliant time. Would definitely be back for more!!

GUEST-HOUSE OXYGEM offers lovely accommodation in the famous Alpine resort Lofer. The house is situated in a quiet part of the town called SCHEFFSNOTH, about 15 minutes walk from the centre. Sunny location, beautiful panorama of the surrounding Alpine peaks and friendly family atmosphere ensure you to enjoy a pleasant stay in our house. Reviewed By annie567Found hotel oxygem through a booking site, how lucky were we! We experienced problems with the confirmation but the manager, Roman, was fantastic and quickly accommodated is. He was prompt to respond to emails and when we arrived he was the perfect host, nothing was a problem. The room was warm and comfortable, breakfast - lovely- with personal touches like home made jams and cake. The sauna and steam room scrupulously clean and the massage chair a real treat, lots of winter activity options nearby, downhill and cross country skiing. A short walk into Lofer, a very picturesque village. Only sorry we did not have time to stay longer. Great value for money.

Spacious apartment next to the ski lift
Reviewed By LukaszKarolak2010The house is 100 m from the ski lift in Lofer. The apartment itself was very big and was very well equipped. Also very clean. The hosts are friendly and uncomplicated. Summing up: everything you need for a nice family winter holidays. Highly recommended!

Restaurant for the better fresh fish dishes
Reviewed By Robert JIn this lovely village where you can be a tourist without feeling like a tourist, where you can blend in with the locals, where the charm of the village remains without selling their soul to the mass tourism, you have this nice fish restaurant. The main focus is the fish, but some other dishes are available for those who prefer something different. Do keep in mind the kitchen might close a bit earlier, which is not that strange in this area. The lady who was serving the tables did an excellent job and made us feel home and very welcome. Despite being busy a personal touch and created time for answering questions and helping out in making our choices. The second time we came back she even welcomed us and reminded we were there before. Our compliments, not happening often. The fish dishes were nice and tasty. Good size portions and for very reasonably prices and of good quality. We really enjoyed the times we had dinner here. When we are in town again then we will be back again as it is one of our favorites.

Reviewed By robban2015We stopped here to eat lunch outdoors. I had a spicy Diabolo pizza that was very good. Service was good. The surrounds are nice and when we were here it was a Volkfest so a lot of people, traditional music and clothes in the center.

Wunderbarer Skiurlaub mit der Familie
Reviewed By klobichWir waren (2 Erw./2 Kinder) für einen Skiurlaub für eine Woche in Lofer im Madlgut. Das Madlgut ist eines von den Hotels die man immer sucht und nur sehr selten findet; ein echter Familienbetrieb mit sehr sauberen hellen modernen Zimmern. Der Hausherr kocht selbst und man kann Abends aus zwei Menues wählen (Hervorragende landestypische Kost!). Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls sehr gut, alles vorhanden was man sich wünscht (Brötchen, frischer Aufschnitt, Müsli, Früchte, Kaffeespezialitäten, hausgemachte Marmelade oder frisch gekochte Eier.) Die Hausherrin betreut die Rezeption und kümmert sich zuverlässig um eventuelle große und kleine Probleme. Der Skibus hält direkt vor dem Haus, Nachmittags kann man die Sauna oder eine Infrarotkabine nutzen. Für das Madlgut müsste man eigentlich sechs Sterne/Punkte vergeben können, hier stimmt wirklich alles. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Large garden and play area.Kayaking centre close by for summer activities along with wide area for Mountain Biking, hiking and walking.
