Reviewed By OlikurI had a great experience staying in this Villa for 1 month. The building is clean and well maintained! The villa and room is very well designed: simple and beautiful joglo house with a modern bedroom and bathroom. Internet is fast and the staffs (esp the owner) are very very friendly, they even cooked Chinese hotpot for us; always available 24/7. Area is perfect - very close to city center yet still calming. Each of their villa has a unique design. Recommended for everyone!

A Peaceful Escape
Reviewed By Tanaya88Freddie villa is a relaxing, secluded and good deal holiday retreat at Ubud. I felt hesitant to travel during pandemic, but then we decided to spend the weekend there. The one bedroom villa is spacious with a full amenities provided such as tea, coffee, mineral water (daily refill) and many more. I love the soap, the fragrant is so calming and relaxing. The pool is not just a plunge pool, though a little bit dirty, but I feel safe because it's private and we do not share with others. Kudos to the bed! It's super soft, fluffy and my daughter slept soundly. The bath tub and outdoor shower is wonderful, private and spacious. Overall, I highly recommend this villa. It fits for travelers who want to have a relaxing holiday on this new normal situation. I wanna back already!

A Serene Escape
Reviewed By miafcarinaWe had a wonderful time here at Canvas Escape! The resort is easy to find and close to everywhere. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staffs and tried their freshly served welcome drink before heading to our room. Our room was located a bit far from the reception and also not directly adjacent to other rooms. Great for privacy. Walking into the room, it was super clean and comfortable. We never wanted to leave the bed, sooo comfortable especially when it comes with a high quality bed linen and we also had a huuuge smart TV. What a perfect combo! The semi outdoor bathroom is also a huge one with a bathtub and his-and-hers bathroom sinks so we didn't have to fight when in hurry. I forgot to bring some toiletries but luckily their bathroom amenities are very complete from toothbrush, pepsodent to shampoo and body lotion; and they were all Malin + Goetz! Wow, I am very impressed. I fell fast asleep in the evening to the sound of crickets outside of the room and woke up to a yummy breakfast in bed. Feel like I started the day off well already! Didn't get to try the pool with jacuzzi but will definitely do that next time. Oh, they also have barbecue by the pool and spa! Will definitely come back and recommend this place to family and friends.

Reviewed By SnooPlease do not think for one minute that the photos are anything like the reality! Neither are a lot of the reviews which have been written by the owner and friends. There are no gardens. The pool area is terrible. Tiny pool, which was empty when we arrived. No loungers. The road sounds like it’s right outside the bedroom door.. that’s because it is! It’s the main through fair for trucks and constant traffic. Not the ‘quiet area’ that was advertised. Crossing the street is a nightmare. There’s no street bars or restaurants close by that we could see and we walked for quite some time. There’s mould on the walls. Dog poop right outside the entrance. If the reviews had been honest and said it’s cheap, rooms adequate for the price, small pool. No real outside area to relax apart from a few bean bags.... perhaps we would’ve been able to make a better judgement on whether to stay or not instead of feeling deceived.

Very secluded area
Reviewed By rinah_j19If u are a relax traveller this may suit u. Location is very far from town. No shops nearby. Very quiet. Close to nature as there are gecko,lizards,ants,crickets, spiders and other insects. Villa is maintain quite well. The villa can only lock the main gate bt invidual villa door cannot be lock. Pool is good and clean. Mine is villa no.1 with private pool and a mini gazebo on top. Bt the gazebo is dusty. Do not like my toilet bowl as it is shaky. Toilet door no hinge to lock. So we use towel to stop it from opening. Kitchen utensils not suitable to cook, looks rusty and dirty. We just order grab food which is easy and yummy. Breakfast was the same thing everyday. No local food serve. A bit boring. Staffs are very friendly and you can ask them anything for assistance. However setback that area do not allow any online transport. Bt lucky we hv our own driver. I may not revisit again.
