We got there to eat something simple and fast for lunch and didn't really expect much of it (mostly by the place's looks and the public which comes for the slot machine they have inside). The menu has quite a lot of options, but being on a place called Tapas itself, what better than trying tapas? So we ordered a tapas mix. I was expecting some small simple bites, but we were presented a wide Woden plank with several cooked traditional Spanish bites, which were all very tasteful. We will definitely repeat this experience! But sitting outside, perhaps

Mooi gezellig restaurant op de Windraak in Sittard. Hier kun je heerlijk ontbijten, lunchen, dineren, borrelen en natuurlijk ook een speeltuin voor de kids
This is a well known resto in the Sittard-region. Located on top of the Windraak. Very friendly staff! Take the time to inform You. Good food and good wines. Weâll be back!Parking in front is small. And a bit noisy inside.

Enjoyed the meal at this restaurant immensely. The menu was varied, and the dinner portions were large as well as delicious. Our waitress was very accommodating and friendly. Would recommend this place highly out of the restaurants around the Sittard market square.

Went for lunch and dinner. Both experiences were very good. Knowledgable staff and friendly serviceThey do serve local dishes such as the kroketten on bread and zuurvlees for dinner. The outdoor terrace is heated and comes with a lap blanket inside the dining area is rustic, quiet. We had the chateau briand for dinner . It was the best one we've ever had. Sidebar: my husband has a service dog and it was not a problem having her inside they even had anwatermbowl for her.

If you ask for restaurant recommendation in Sittard market square, the locals will most likely suggest MEDS. I went there a few times. The menu is not that extensive, just like many local restaurants, but it never bothers me. Each time, I opt for the surprise menu. You can choose 3 or 4 course set, tell the waiter what you DONT LIKE. The rest is up to the Chef. So I usually have starter, main course and dessert. Each time I walk out feeling full and satisfied. The portion is generally bigger than I need so I hardly can finish the dessert. The dishes are beautifully presented and Creative. Food quality is 8/10. Service 7/10. Highly recommended.

Denk
We had an excellent culinary evening at this newly opened quality restaurant in a nice location. G7 serves excellent food with a diverse variety of wines. The G7 menu is the recommended choice which is a surprise menu with great variation in meat and fish with some unusual dishes. The chef plays a lot with sweet and sour accents. The wines complement the dishes. Personally I feel the quality of the surprising wines are above average. The restaurant is run by the owners of the Kolentip, and it shows in the quality of the food and wine. Just make a reservation, but make sure to plan enough time to enjoy the meal. You will not regret it!

Small but nice and cozy living room decorated "eatcafe" on restaurant level. About thirty seatings for dinner, drinks only limited if there is a free table or on reservation for whisky lovers. Over 550 whisky's in stock, expert advice is always possible!
This restaurant is located in a side street of the central market place. But boy, is this a place to take a short stroll to. First of all, the reception. Very hearthy and open. Then, of course, there's the gargantuan number of whisk(e)ys on offer, most of them for very decent prices. And the owner gives excellent advice. Last but not least: the food is excellent. Extras for those who speak Dutch/Flemish: the interesting items posted in the toilets.Thank you so much for your fantastic review Pascal! Maybe someday, I will find some time to translate, next to our menu (already in English), also the toilet-items into English.

A friend invited me for dinner and we had a great starter of octopus! Well decorated, soft and delicious. Staff is friendly. Menu is in Greek and Dutch. But ask the staff to explain in English. The place is crowded since it is one of the best Greek restaurants in Netherlands.
