Reviewed By L5666PIrachelwThis hotel is in a beautiful position on the beach. The beach and sea is good. There was a lovely grassy sunbathing area overlooking the sea. The hotel room was nice ( we were in a new block so I don’t know about the main hotel ), everywhere was very clean and staff were friendly. The problem with this hotel was the food and drink. Salads were lovely but everything was quite repetitive and restaurant was very busy. We tried staggering our visits but it seemed always the same, some days it was pot luck if we found a table. The beer seemed watered down . The wine was sour too! Luckily we didn’t have any children with us as there wasn’t anything for children there, no proper playground or disco etc. We ended up eating out as there were lots of lovely beach restaurants and a lovely bar across the road - Toad in the Hole , where lots of our hotel seemed to visit, a good pint and wine!! The evening entertainment was non existent - karaoke, bingo, tv football, not what we were expecting. Would visit Laganas again in a self catering place.

Reviewed By emmakelsey16We recently stayed at the Zante plaza after booking through love holidays we as a family group of 9 with children. we arrived after a Long day of travelling to check in assuming we was going to be staying in the hotel as we paid extra to upgrade to be taken by the receptionist to building apartments up the road. The rooms was lovely but when we walked out on to our balcony we was horrified that our view was over looking a derilcate building not a garden or pool like we paid for We went back over to the reception in the main hotel where we questioned why we wasn’t in a room that we had upgraded to and was confronted by a older lady who I assume was the manager to be told there is no upgrading and we had to stay where we was. As you can imagine we was very angry but had to get on with it. My mother in law who was in a anex room no bath it was shower only . The shower head didn’t have any attachment bit to hold the shower on the wall she had to hold the shower head whilst trying to wash when staff was made aware of this nothing was done. We raised the issues again with reception who agreed to move my mother in law to another room as she has ill health and can’t stand for long never mind hold the shower whilst trying to wash. Absolutely disgraceful.. Our 3rd room where my daughter and grandson had the toilet seat was broken for the 2 weeks we were there after many complaints they still didn’t fix this and the water comes up through the drains in the bathroom floors when the bath and showers are emptying so the water goes into the bedrooms. The hotel also advertises they have air conditioning which we was told is 9 euros per night . They also advertise a pool table and table tennis this is not the truth as the Zante plaza do not have these in this hotel these are only available in their sister hotel in kalamaki. The Wi-fi is 1 euro per day per device we paid this for our 3 children however the internet do not work properly. There is no pool side bar and the snack bar is in a different location to the hotel again you have to leave the building area to go and get snacks. The small pool baby pool was not filled up and was not filled until I asked for this to be opened for our grandson a week into our holiday. Only plus side of our holiday was the memories we made and the staff as the bar/waitress/waiters was lovely and the food was lovely also. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel if you have young children with you.

Reviewed By felipebg83Great hotel! Staff were super friendly and helpful and the owner is always around to greet you. Facilities are good, pool area is lovely, and we were very pleased to see lots of measures being taken on sustainability e.g. free reusable shopping bag on arrival and water machines to reduce the use of plastic bottles. Room was a bit small, the aircon unit made a bit of noise and the food selection wasn't great, but other than that it was a very enjoyable stay. We would recommend!

There was myself my 8 year old daughter, my boyfriend, his 12 year old son, mother in law and sister in law and her boyfriend! Honestly treated so nicely made such a fuss of the kids! Few young groups in but all were great and respectful as there was such a range of people staying there! Two min walk from some lovely bars and restaurants and then you can keep going to the strip if you want. About ten / fifteen minute walk to beach where there is some gorgeous beachfront restaurants and you can get to the bottom of the strip from there too! On arrival we were also told that for €18 per day per adult we could upgrade to all inclusive if we were planning on staying by pool all day etc! And €7 for kids! This was amazing! Each day we chose what to do! Food was lovely too plenty to chose from! And tried some dishes I’d never had before! Looking to return in august if we can! Can’t recommend enough! New management and staff this year and they are going above and beyond! Get booking you won’t be disappointed ? hopefully see you again soon

Firstly, the food is literally the same everyday, ud possibly expect that for breakfast but everything else is same over and over again. Snacks are just breakfast and lunch leftovers. We ended up eating out of a few occasions as we got so fed up eating same things all the time. Hot drinks only available when restaurant is open, so for a coffee lover like myself this was very disappointing. Cold drinks were pretty limited, and alcohol choices not worth it. All inclusive starts at 11, but if u want a soft drink from bar before then u have to pay. For the price that we paid for this holiday (half our own fault as didn't realise it was half term when we booked) this hotel is not worth it, then to crank up the price you have to pay €12 per week per device for WiFi, which most the time was rubbish and kept cutting off. €7 per night air con, we opted for this just one night to have a good sleep. You can hear everything outside the hotel on an evening, passers by screaming, traffic, and the dogs constantly barking. For us, we had 2 large groups staying at the hotel at the same time who were noisy, and had to be told at night time to keep quiet only for them to laugh at the staff and continue being noisy once they'd gone. The room, very basic. There is a fridge in the room but only worked along with all other electricals when you press the key in on arrival, so fridge was not on most the time. Cleaning was shambolic, and you had your room cleaned 'every 2 days' whether you want it or not. Fortunately we were in the room on a couple of occasions to tell cleaners we didn't want it cleaned, they didn't seem impressed. Cleaners would just walk in the room while u were in there, and wasn't happy when you told them to leave Me and my partner got bites all over us, a load more then your normal 7 or 8 u get. We suspected at one point this was bed bugs, but there was no signs of this when we checked so we half dismissed that idea, maybe we were just very unfortunate. There is a bus stop not far from the hotel, but I never saw one bus in our entire stay there.

Hotel is located in the heart of the main street of the town called Laganas. The street where life rages more than in other places of the island. After all, this place is called the Greek Ibiza. But in spite of it... families with children also in these parts quietly find places for rest and travel... After all, this place is a real find for those who want to relax.

Reviewed By marianmP6743SEDisaster, horrible, avoid this hotel. At the reception it sends you if you want packaged air 3 euros / day, you want internet 5 euros, swimming pool 3 euros / day / person /, safe 5 euros. If it could, it would also charge a fee for the air we breathe. AVOIDANCE !!!

Reviewed By Dasha3675239The rooms are clean, no insects. Cleaning every day.The room is simple. Taps in the bathroom whistle, it is difficult to equalize the temperature of the water. I can not say that the rooms are quiet: we heard the neighbors at night in the next room. The big minus of the hotel is that you have to pay for everything: a refrigerator, safe, Wi-fi, air conditioning (except July and August), sun beds by the pool (!). Breakfast by the end of the week starts to bother. There is a pool for children and a jacuzzi. There is also a bar, but we did not use it. A Greek night is held at the bar every Sunday. Sandy beach. Sunset in the sea is very long and shallow. Kids will like it. From the hotel you can quickly reach the main street. There are many restaurants and shops around. Overall, the hotel is nice

Hotel very nice but Food was not good
Reviewed By junebrown52Just came back from staying at this hotel for 7 days all inclusive and although the hotel was very nice, the food was not good at all. It was cold and not a good variety. Breakfast was not nice, bacon was undercooked and things were not been stocked up quick enough. I found the Restaurant manager had an attitude and was not approachable. We spent a lot of money out because of this. Also if you paid for your drinks at the pool side bar you would get a glass however because we were all inclusive, we had to have plastic cups and when approached the bar staff regarding the plastic cups were advised it was because of safety requirements. I can understand in the day when kids are running around but not in the evening. So was not happy with this. 1st time to Greece but would not stay at this hotel again.
