I've been to Vanilla Sky many times, its OK, but last night was terrible. I waited at the table for 20 minutes until a waiter brought the menu. I wanted to leave and go to another place but decided to stay. I didn't order anything, my friend ordered just a coffee. It arrived really fast, and she said the coffee was nice. Absolutely horrible service, I think the waiter is new. But thats no excuse. I will go back and hope the service is better, if not, there are many other options in Bishkek.

We visited the restaurant today, on the 26th September 2019. Interior is great. Traditional local themes. Food is great for meat eaters but also vegetarians. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is extremely efficient, polite, interested in your well-being. Genuinely interested, not just polite. It's very clean. They had good local live music. I just don't know what else to say. It is great. Lovely restaurant in a lovely city. Bishkek is a vibrant, colourful, green, friendly city with lovely people and the restaurant and it's staff are an amazing representation of this brilliant city.
