Bel-Zhan is a peaceful and green lodge with different types of accommodation: yurts (with modern conveniences), Gidus' Tower with view on the Tien-Shan mountains,Dirk's cottage, with a lot of private space, and a house of stone with three separate rooms. The rooms are normally for two people. There is an outdoor kitchen and fireplace. You can make several hikes and excursions from Belzhan.
A tranquil escape from the tourist circus
Reviewed By aeolian_lyrBelzhan is a wonderfully tranquil, tree-laden compound offering accommodation in beautifully decorated yurts and quaint cabins. Set away from the more raucous touristy areas that dot the northern shore of Issyk Kul, the property is pristine and quiet, with several lovely hammocks and small outdoor nooks in which to unwind. The breakfasts that are included in the stay are nourishing and filling, and the food that is available to order for other meals is spectacular and reasonably priced. The owner and staff are exceedingly warm and welcoming, and they offer bicycles, kayaks, and transportation at very reasonable rates. The outdoor bathrooms and showers are kept clean, though due to their construction they do not offer as much privacy as some might wish. Overall, Belzhan is the perfect place to return to after a long day hiking or swimming.

Reviewed By Emilia SGreat place to have a lunch and dinner with your family and friends. Have tasty national cousine, with accompany alife music with great band. Children can play in play ground. Recommend this place to spend nice time with your close people.

A cozy and stylish hotel
Reviewed By Светлана CI was least expecting to see such a stylish, offbeat and quaint hotel there. And it's very beautiful: the garden full of roses, tables and chairs in the shade of trees, many old things all around... In the restaurant there is a real working jukebox for LP records! The owner is very hospitable and upon arrival they gave me a big complimentary plate of ripe cherries. The rooms are rather small and basic: no shampoo, only soap bar. And there is no kettle in the room, but they provided it to me upon my request. It's nice. The beds are ok, the TV is modern, a hot water, a nice view from the window... The breakfast was wonderful. So it's a very peaceful and homelike hotel, I recommend to stay there.

Excellent Value for money.
Reviewed By MoxaBearI stayed at Panorama Hotel for 4 days. I had a private room (bathroom ensuite) and got a very good deal on it through booking.com. I had a long rectangular shaped room, simple and clean. My room had windows and doors, with ample sunlight. The hotel is mainly run by a mother and daughter who treat you like family. They are friendly, helpful and caring. They also prepare fresh breakfast for all the guests each morning. On the top floor is a pool table and a socialising space which would be nice when the hotel is busy. The city center is about a 10 minute drive from the hotel. The hotel faces a long highway and seems to be in a residential area. If wifi is a big priority for you, you might not recieve full signal in your room, but sim cards with 4G internet are so cheap in Kyrgyzstan that its easier to be connected 24x7 by mobile. The hotel offered me great value for money, so I would definitely stay here again.

Charming Bed&Breakfast/Homestay in Bokonbaev, nearby the famous and beautiful lake Issyk-Kul. Our house is located righ below the montain and offers a panoramic and very nice view. eagl show and horse riding. we have 5 inside rooms and a lovely 5 person Yurt in the garden.

Reviewed By Indiagirl2014If you stay with Gulmira you can either stay in the beautiful yurts in the Garden or in a private room. Gulmira welcomes you with Tea, bread and home made jam (and kumuz). Upon request sie prepared dinner as well. Her mantis (dumpilngs) are really good :) It is a really Good choice ro exeperience once again the kyrgyz hospitality! Like in other places in Kyrgyzstan here again I felt like a family member . Thank you so much Gulmira for your warm hospitality :)

Decent, but not worth the cost
Reviewed By LV_ADVNTRSimple, clean, decent distance from the beach, but not "6 minutes" as advertised online. The lady was nice and gave us cups and bowls to use. Nice balcony with mountain view. No english speakers, as advertised on the site. Definitely NOT "beachfront" as advertised on the site. Shower was terrible, looked nice but the worst water pressure I have ever experienced. There also was no A/C... which was ok but got a little hot at times.

Ala-Kul guesthouse in Altyn-Arashan was opened in 2015. The owner Ucha and his family provide Eastern hospitality and European service. They can organize everything for you: horse riding, taxi service, folklore shows, mounting treks, guides, porters and it's a pleasure to spend the evening at dinner with Ucha. He can tell you a lot of stories about kyrgyz history and traditions. and football))) The house has warm and comfortable rooms, soft bed, hot shower, delicious food.

Reviewed By PiletravelsWe stayed at the Ala Kul guesthouse for 2 nights. Very friendly hosts, delicious food, clean rooms and showers. We have also meet other turists, with whom we made quite great team for the time of stay in the Altyn Arashan valley. The hosts can also tell you some interesting things about Kyrgyz culture, local sports development, politics etc. (FYI- ask them about the Kiwi story). They speak great English as well. We have had great time. If/when coming back to Kyrgyzstan, would/will most definitely stay at this place again. Regards, T

Nice hotel in the centre with garden.
Reviewed By Tomáš HThis place has very nice position and great garden, where you can relax in hammocks or on benches. Staff is very friendly and makes gigantic breakfasts. Only problem is some small mistakes in rooms with doors or windows, but nothing that would make our stay unpleasent. I would recommend.

В номере самое необходимое - две кровати, тумбочки, вместительный шкаф, новенький холодильник. Постельное белье и полотенца - чистые, без пятен и разводов. Если что то нужно, можно попросить у персонала. Утром подается завтрак, нашему ребенку даже готовили по его предпочтениям. Есть общая кухня, где можно готовить самому и пользоваться посудой по мере необходимости. Да, пляжи находятся в пансионатах на некотором удалении от гостевого дома, но есть бесплатный трансфер от гостевого дома для отдыхающих без машины. Мы ехали на своей машине и сами выбирали на какой пляж поехать - хоть в пансионате, хоть дикий. По сравнению с номерами в пансионатах среднего ценового сегмента и их уровнем сервиса, данный гостевой дом выигрывает и является хорошим соотношением "цена-качество". Думаем приехать еще раз на следующий год
