So we walked in this establishment having been recommended to visit.The place was empty and it quickly became apparent why.The landlord decided to tell his business plan which was to rely on locals who weren't turning up and that he was not interested in tourists ..... we were the inconvenience. He was definitely not the host with the most and created a miserable atmosphere. One drink and we were gone.Well good luck to you sir. If you continue with that attitude I fear that Whisjey Joe's will be no more.

It's difficult to do chinese in Cyprus as there are no bean sprouts, bamboo shoots or waterchestnuts readily available. So the mandarin's chinese food consists of assorted cypriot vegetables, pork , beef or chicken in a variety of bottle sauces, black bean, sweet and sour or szechuan etc.Is this chinese? Not in my book.Most of the starters are frozen.The place is chaotic in the early evening until David's young lady takes charge, if I were you David I would stick to the wines ,I think it must be all of your mates writing the good reviews.

First time at the Cabin but, will definitely return. Tables set out on decking on the sea front. Complimentary olives hummus and bread to start. I had lamb chops and my partner steak. Both were cooked to perfection. Salad, rice and chips accompanied the meals. A nice bottle of local wine and a bottle of water. Delicious!All in all a very pleasant night in authentic surroundings.

This is a simple place with a decent menu. Drink prices are good (better than the norm), food prices are about the norm.We went on a Friday evening and the place was near empty, so we cannot say much about atmosphere.I doubt we would bother going again. There are dozens of places doing similar food and this place is a bit far out.

We visited Hoots this week for supper and were pleasantly surprised. Hidden away in the village of ILgaz, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Our meals were really good. Nice sized portions and the chunky chips delicious. I had the Kalamari and my partner the Beef Sis. Well presented and delicious. We will be going back.

Popped in for a light lunch today. The staff were lovely and the food was very nice and superb value. Very family friendly and relaxing, open air dining but shaded if you .want it. This is not a fine dining place and it does not pretend to be, just good food and great value. Well worth a visit.
