After our visit to Nobana No Sato, we were heading to kakiyasu for lunch. As we can't get a seat there, we chance upon Utaandon which is right across the road. No regret in fact, this was one of the two best meal we had in this Kansai area trip. Price is reasonable and food is delicious. We had a great lunch here in which all four had enjoyed a sumptuous lunch. Not to forget to buy their packet udon to bring home for own use or as souvenir. Use it with their home made shoyu. It is as good as eating there

we went directly from Nagoya airport to the restaurant, too early for our lunch appointment. The staff welcomed us warmly and settled us in a good sized room. They ensured the kids are comfortable. The atmosphere is good, the food delicious. We were given a certificate to authenticate the beef quality. A restaurant I would come to. Price wise, it's on the high side but I guess you pay for quality.

ＪＲくわな駅より歩いてスグ。
桑名の銘菓「安永餅」の老舗。
安永餅は細長くて食べやすい。
甘すぎず美味しい。
オススメします。

The Takoyaki here was as delicious as the owner was helpful. Not only did we get 14 pieces for 500 yen, but the shop owner gave us many pamphlets about Kuwana to help us make the most of our stay. Me and my wife were the first people to visit from the US (she has a map to mark where visitors come from), so we encourage more people to stop by!

もちもちで美味しいです。
１つでお腹がいっぱいになります。
色んな種類があるので、自分好みのが見つかると思います。
ちなみに私はチョコレート系が好きです。

13:30頃だけど、軽く行列。
餃子だから、進みが早いかと思いきや、15分待ち。
餃子 ￥380
家の餃子っぽい、普通の餃子。
小ビール ￥380
ここのお店では、牛乳＋餃子がツウっぽいけど、餃子にはやっぱりビールだ！
ニンニクきざみの入ったラー油。
おいしくて、いっぱいつけたくなるけど、胸焼けする。
お正月用の餃子が売っていた。

この桑名 丁子屋、地元の方にとっては 単なるお食事処ではなく、顔合わせや結納・祝事・法事法要 など あらたまった時にも使う店らしい。
蛤だけでなく、鰻・ふぐ料理も出すらしいが、今日のランチは 蛤目当て、ランチ限定 「昼はま膳」を頂く。
焼き蛤、蛤茶碗蒸し、野菜炊合せ、香の物に お食事は 「蛤雑炊」か「蛤しぐれ茶漬け」から選択できます。
悩んだ挙句 しぐれ茶漬けは しぐれ煮を買って帰れば 自宅でも作れるから、雑炊にしました。
焼き蛤、大きくて 貝の旨味が堪能できる。焼く器 五徳も かしこまった席にも利用する店らしい良い器でした。
茶碗蒸し、蛤出汁の茶碗蒸しも 初めて食べるお味でした。
雑炊、大きな蛤の身が沢山入り、貝の滋味が口に広がる。
お昼から 美味しいものを頂きました。
夜は 蛤づくし (5,000円 8,000円の2コース)もメニューにありました。 今度は 夜 来ます。

７コを鍋に、２コを焼蛤に。
はまぐり鍋は、仲居さんが面倒をみてくれる。
蛤、おいし～！！ すごくプリプリでクリーミー！
せっかくなので、７年モノの蛤を追加！
１コ￥1,500！
大きくて、口いっぱいに蛤だから、食べるのが大変！ むせる！
味は同じ。経験として、１回食べればよいかんじ。
とってもおいしいし、また行きたい！

珍しいはまぐりづくしの定食が食べられます。
焼きハマグリ５個。磯辺揚げ、しじみ汁、ごはん、佃煮、天ぷら、サラダがついて1500円の赤須賀定食がお奨めです。9/1に２００円値上げするそうです。
ここは開店の11：30についた時にはスデに50分待ちでした。
使っているのは国産ハマグリです。
珍しい料理に興味がある人はお奨め。

今まで数回利用していますが、いつもハンバーグセットのサラダ付です。パンは食べ放題なので食事時間が少し長くなってしまうのでイルミネーションが点灯されている時間には利用していませんが、チャーチの横なのでいながらにして水上イルミネーションが眺められます。午後4時ごろまでならは比較的楽に利用できます。園内の金券も利用できるので便利です。
