Nagashima Spa Land

The Nagashima Spa Resort has blown my mind! This is without a doubt the best theme park and compete with the best in the world! The Steel Dragon, Acrobat and the Giant Frisbee were epic! We were fortunate in that it was a quiet Tuesday and we didn't spend a long time in the ques - I can imagine that on a busy day you could wait for hours. The food and drinks on offer are great and reasonably priced too! What an awesome day out, I can't wait until the next time we return here!

Nagoya Anpan-man Kodomo Museum

We went to the museum with two young kids (2 and 4 years old). It is more like a fun park
rather than museum as there are many interactive activities. I would guess that most visitors are Japanese or mixed couples kids as our own. My daughters are familiar with all characters
so they really enjoyed it. It is a bit on expensive site but definitely worth going.
It is very compact so not much walking around.I wouldn't recommend that place for kids older than 6-7 years old as it is designed for smaller kids.Nevertheless great fun!!!

Tado Shrine, landscape it's itself amazing. Quite area surrounded by trees and one small stream and at the end of the monumental ensemble a nice waterfall. For me one of the most beautiful shrines in Japan. Totally recommend.

Kuwana Suigo Fireworks

The Kuwana Suigo Fireworks Display was initiated in 1934 to commemorate the completion of Ise Bridge. Although suspended for a time during the war, the display carries on a fireworks tradition right up to today. Held in late July on a sandbar in the middle of the Ibi River, the event features the launching of approximately 10,000 fireworks in roughly an hour and a half. Airborne star mines, Waterfalls, and star mines emerging from the water follow one after another, and the climax is a No. 20 Ball firework that lights up the night sky with one of the most impressive bursts of the Tokai region.

A small park with little stalls of food, footbridges, and wonderful cherry blossoms in April, in a water setting.Thirty minutes there is ample time to see it all.Would not make a special trip there unless you are in the area.More of an attraction for the locals really.Easy to get to with spacious car park and toilets.Surrounding area not all that attractive..just ordinary buildings.Nice place for a picnic and rest.

Shichiri no Watashi Remains
