Reviewed By malikaarnold1My husband and I loved staying at Guru Canggu. It really looked like the photos (even better actually!). The staff and owners were super helpful and friendly and made us feel super welcome. The rooms were seriously gorgeous and such a beautiful pool!

Reviewed By YogaEfendiI booked Superior Twin Room last night. Wow! The room was big, big 2 bed, strong AC, with TV also and very good hot water. This is perfect for family! Worth it every penny and close to the Kuta area and airport. Very nice staff also. Recommended.

Capsule like beds w usb charging, light, table, big locker, towel. Friendly staff. There’s a cafe at d reception w cheap big bintang in case one wants to continue the chilling. There are signs that noise should be kept down so guests are cautious. T/b per floor. Free breakfast ? may be skippable (just an egg and 2 slices of a mini baguette) but for 30k u can get 3 strips of bacon and scrambled eggs. Free water from the dispenser hot or cold. It’s exactly 1 km fr beach walk mall and from Lxxy or Sky garden (12k grab ? 25k car ?) 500 m fr Kuta beach gate.

Reviewed By DaisyDonoghueHad an amazing time at Lokal Bali Hostel. Staff were super friendly, and willing to help. Rooms were really clean with big comfy beds with storage to hold your bags. Food was lovely and cheap! Good location and in walking distance of everything. Definitely will be coming back!

Reviewed By kgoulardThe property is amazing! Motor scooters on hand in the driveway to take for day trips during your stay. Delicious food is prepared by attentive staff. Amazing surf instruction by local surf champions. I stayed in the Queen Deluxe room (1 of 4). Outdoor shower is incredible. I also stayed in the Bungalow. Shared bathroom with another unit but you don't feel like you're in each other's way. A great place to meet a variety of people from all over the world without it feeling overwhelming. No more than a dozen people were there during my stay. We've exchanged information and stayed in touch ever since :)

Grannys Hostel and restaurant is the place where you want to be if you like to get to know other backpackers. Here you can sit and relax in the front of the hostel, read a book and watch people walk by. Or why not sit in the garden, share stories about your travels and just love life! If you are an active person, take advantage of our large garden and play badminton on ball games! The bar is cool to sit in and have a nice talk to our English, Indonesian, German, and Norwegian speaking staff. You can also just sit and chill and listen to great music. We also have barbeque nights, coctail party's, jam nights, and movie nights. Grannys Hostel is not in the heart of Kuta, but around 20-30 minutes walk form the beach. But we have a shuttle service everyday down to Kuta Beach at 11am and return at 5pm for a small charge.
Backpacking heaven
Reviewed By Debjani HI travelled to Bali to gain my first ever backpacking experience. Found Granny's online and booked a bed for two nights. From when I first arrived at Granny's to when I left, the staff and the atmosphere was completely awesome. I even extended my stay for three more days. Granny's organizes tours to Lovina for a couple of nights, and also nights out in town along with themed nights within the hostel. Highly recommended if you like meeting amazing people from all around the world, experience good hospitality and a place that is safe and reliable. Loved every minute of being here!
