Reviewed By TomasKEVery comfortable room equipped with all I need. Nice view out of river-side rooms. Breakfast was just of average quality. You can easily use public transport as the stop is nearby. Unfortunately I did not have an opportunity to go to the wellness.

It was a pleasure to stay at a location where the staff truly cares about your experience. The rooms were wonderful as well and very comfortable. The food at the restaurants was delectable too!

Reviewed By simonhull2014The Levens are very friendly and helpful and Frau Leven speaks English well. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but adequate. There is a bit of street noise - church bells ringing hourly and the level crossing alert - but with the windows closed this wasn't a problem. The location is excellent and I enjoyed a great walk to the Drachenfels and Petersburg. There are also lots of good restaurants just around the corner in a very quaint pedestrian street. Or enjoy the strong coffee or tall Weiss beer at the hotel's own roadside restaurant. I would come again.

Shame about the smoke
Reviewed By Andrew GTo enter the hotel you have to pass through the tiny covered smoking area - disgusting.Shame because the rooms and service are top rate. Very close to the autobahn so a convenient stopover and Bonn city center is a 23 minute drive away.

Groundfloor is a restaurant with a michelin listing and an owner who is obviously a keen wine enthousiast judging by all the certificates on the walls. We didn't eat there because we weren't in the mood for fine dining. We'd booked late via booking.com and arrived to find the small parking filled by restaurant guest. We did have the option to offload our luggage and park elsewhere. There's paid parking (4 euros per 24 hours) at 5 minutes walking and free parking a bit further away) Welcome at checkin was most warm indeed and the nice lady at reception was very patient with our basic German. Our room, number 13 at the front of the hotel was airy and light thanks to the big windows. There's some noise from the street but that's limited to diners at the terrace of the restaurant across the street. After 2300 it's pretty quiet. The room was obviously very recently refurbished in a style that matches the building. Good shower, new mattresses but a bit on the soft side. There's no air conditioning Breakfast was excellent! Eggs, bacon, excellent cold meats and some salmon, yoghurt jams and superb bread as is normal for Germany. There was wifi which worked well enough. What made this hotel for me was the staff and the small town feel of Konigswinter. I'd gladly stay here again

The Hotel Oelberg Garni is located in Königswinter-Oberpleis in a beautiful, central and quiet location on the edge of the Siebengebirge. Due to the good connection to the motorway A3 as well as to Königswinter, Bonn and Cologne, this is a suitable location for many activities. We offer inexpensive accommodation in clean single, double and triple rooms. They have functional and comfortable facilities with toilet, shower and satellite TV in each room. A rich and fresh breakfast buffet will start your working or holiday day comfortably - all you can eat! By the way: The Hotel Oelberg Garni was awarded the Venere Award "Top Clean" in 2013. We look forward to welcoming you as a guest in the Hotel Oelberg Garni!
Nice small Place in a very quiet part of Town
Reviewed By surfdogs88Nice room with a big window. A good mattress and a table with two chairs - nice. This is perfect if you need to work or want to have some food etc. The bathroom is small but very good water pressure. There is a supermarket just a few minutes to walk and the town center is not far as well. It was super quiet at night so I could sleep very well. The owner is very friendly - check-in and out was a breeze. I arrived Sunday and walked to the Aral gas station. They have a small supermarket that is open. And they have cold beer as well!

A stones throw from the town and a short ferry ride to Bad Godesberg, this family style hotel is in an idyllic location. A great budget friendly option it’s a fantastic breakfast. Very clean and tidy with super friendly staff.

Reviewed By Jin HWe were here with a group of 8 people. The food was really excellent and the rooms were big. The sleeping rooms were okay and acceptable. I think overall it was to the level which we would expect and the service was excellent. I would have to say 3.5 stars
