A great place to get away!
Reviewed By chris2114My family had a great time at Ary's. we stayed in bungalow 4, which is the closest to the beach. It is in a secluded part of the island, close to the airport. Staff is very friendly. Food was good and not expensive. Fruit juices were freshly squeezed and delicious. Staff can set up day trips to the islands near by. We went to the closest island for a day trip. The cooks caught the fish we ate for lunch on our way there. Free snorkeling equipment is available from the hotel. However, you don't need a boat to see some cool stuff with the masks. Great beach area and no waves...especially nice when traveling with little ones. Things to know ahead of time- there's no electricity in the day, no wifi, and limited cell service. Bring lots of bug spray and a supply of snacks as there are no restaurants near. Also, payment is cash only. They are closed January through March due to unpredictability of boats during rainy season.

Reviewed By AncelikhI didnt stay here but i checked out the rooms and they are clean and nice and effort has been done to the whole place to make it look homey,vice and cosy....done with STYLE. Great waterfront deck for you to chill out at, great for evenings. The reason i kept on coming back and back again to Blue Coral was the AMAZING food that Mama Dina cooks...she is bar far the best cook on the whole island. She worked almost 30 years in Europe as a professional chef - you dont have anybody else on the whole island with that experience. She does an amazing variety of Vegetarian and Vegan foods as well, the best Vegan sauce spaghetti i ever had in my life was done by Mama. The incredible food and great hospitality if this family is only one reason to stay here, theres many many moore reasons- go and find out yourself. Highly recommended !!!!

CocoHuts Inn is located on a lush green hill overlooking 8 islands and the Java Sea. A perfect place to relax while enjoying the ocean breeze and breathtaking view. Our cozy restaurant is also open for non guest, and offers tasty western and local food. Our 4 bungalows and 4 rooms are made from reused/ non jungle wood, and we have kept our 1 HA property as natural as possible. Perfect for nature lover looking for something different than usual city hotels. We can arange moped rental and boat trips upon your arrival. Reviewed By Till22The highlight of this hotel is the view! We could see the ocean, the green mosque and the harbour from the balcony of our room and also from the restaurant. Make sure you get a room far up the hill. You have to walk a bit, but the view is worth every step. The room itself is rather basic, but it had AC and was clean. We were lucky that we had Wifi in our room because it was close to the restaurant - if your room is farther away there is no Wifi in your room. Breakfast was good, but in the evening the food was only mediocre, so after the first day we had dinner somewhere else. Staff was really friendly and helped us to organize a ticket for the fast boat which can be very difficult as we had to learn.

Breakfast is great, provided everyday and rooms clean and fresh towels available. It’s cheap to rent a scooter and all island/off island activities are easy and inexpensive to book. A fabulous place to stay

Kathy’s Place is a beautiful boutique style guesthouse located in the centre of KarimunJawa. The guesthouse is comprised of five guest bedrooms off a lovely communal central living area comprising a large kitchen/dining room and a hangout room. Two of the five bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, the other three bedrooms share a bathroom. All of the bedrooms have aircon N the showers have hot water.

Homestay Pondok Bintang has only one bungalow for two guests. The Garden bungalow is 15 km from Karimunjawa Village. The Bungalow have springbed, AC, western wc and cold water shower. We also offer private snorkeling and camping trips. Come to us and see the Karimunjawa Island from a other side.

Reviewed By AncelikhIf you are coming to Karimun Jawa for very very good snorkelling, like me, and thats one of the reasons you should come here cause it really is outstanding - then you need a good snorkelling guide who can speak your language ( German/English & Indonesian ) and who KNOWS where the beautiful coral and fish is. Well, most of the local fishermen dont know where they are cause they dont snorkel. And most of the guides just want your money and they bring you to the closest reefs/islands so they can save on the petrol money. The owner of this lovely homestay Rene has been snorkelling these waters for almost 10 years, he knows all the secret places and where to find what. He knows all the currents and channels, and this is vital information for you so you can get the best out of your experience and most of all : The safest way !!! Dont waste your time with a mediocre experience from the tourist trap "town"...better you put a bit of effort and go up to the north North island and stay with Rene,Rini and their lovely daughter Emma, this is REAL homestay.... You will blow your brain out after seeing some corals that were moore beautiful than in Raja Ampat ( the best snorkel in all Indonesia ) Im not kidding...i coudnt belive it myself either. You can have homecooking done for you if you want, and a motorbike is included in the room rent .
