Little Gem that's BIG on service
Reviewed By Joyrider23A bit apprehensive when we arrived our original hotel booking had cancelled us a few days before so we needed to find somewhere quick Our expectations were not particularly high since the accommodation only has a 3 star rating Situated right on the beach in the centre of the town the rooms were fairly standard but we had everything we needed included a safe, fridge & TV, our room was cleaned daily, with drinking water and fresh towels provided each time. Bed & pillows ultra comfy too Management and staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble Kamala is a lovely little town. We will be back !! and will certainly consider staying in the Thai Kamala again when we do

At just over 700bt a night, amazing value & proved to be a great stay Everything worked as expected, bed very comfy, decent pool, a quiet location, beach within 10mins walk, and Big C supermarket within 5mins walk, with many more shops, restaurants & bars along the main road & down little side streets The staff were all friendly and very helpful My 1st stay in Kamala, a great beach and having a great hotel made it so good. Certainly a place I will stay again on my next visit to Kamala, as I am really impressed by this hotel

Excellent choice
Reviewed By 193tonywLocation is great as its right in the beachside area of the town. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Everyone in the hotel is super helpful and friendly. The room had a nice rainfall shower and the cleaning and upkeep are exceptionally good. For a small hotel I doubt this could be beaten as it really is that good. They give beach towels and straw mats for use on the beach which is about 2 minutes walk. No complaints or moans at all.

Reviewed By WAPY50We stayed for five nights and couldn't fault it. We had an ensuite room with a balcony. The room was serviced each day and was exceptionally clean. Fresh bed linen and towels daily along with complimentary water. The staff were so friendly and helpful too. Good location and plenty of local places to eat. Bars nearby although we didn't use them, preferring to go along to the beach front bars. Only a short walk away too. Great little place at a great little price!!

Amala Grand Bleu Sea View Pool Suites, is located on a small private hill on the way between Patong to Kamala. It is the perfect place, far enough from all the Hassles, but Close enough if you'd like to drop by to the Patong City Center and Beach, Jungceylon Shopping Mall, Kamala Beach and Phuket Fantasea - just 10 minutes by road (if no traffic). For a peaceful holiday, this is the place to be.

Reviewed By EmmaG330011Staff were very kind and helpful. Room was nice and spacious but on our first night we discovered ants in our room, on the kitchen top, on the tables and all in the cupboards. The room was made up everyday but sheets were not changed and floor not hoovered. None the less still good value for money you definitely get what you pay for. Rooftop pool was lovely and relaxed and breakfast was excellent. Would stay again just would keep in mind the cleanliness. Nice and close to the beach and some lovely restaurants nearby and some lively bars too.

Amazing place and amazing value for money.

We had been in Phuket for a few weeks and were booked to stay in a villa with a private pool but wanted to be in town and nearer to the beach. This place got good reviews for location and cleanliness and exceeded our expectations when we arrived. Our room on the first floor was spacious, well equipped with a good sized fridge with an icebox. The aircon and fan worked well and everything was spotlessly clean. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that but everything was good. We had a lovely little balcony with a couple of chairs and a table. The price that we paid represented amazing value and we would definitely stay there again.

When you travel in Thailand you get used to very clean hotels but the Umbrella House is exceptionally clean and very well managed. Everything was just in perfect order and on a high standard, be it the shower, aircon, fridge etc. The guesthouse is situated very close to several supermarkets and conveniently close to the seafront. Restaurants etc. are all within walking distance. Mr. Bom really does an awesome job, and I can highly recommend staying at the Umbrella House.
