We had a business dinner here. We ordered some shared starters like oysters, iberico and parma ham which I found rather average. The steaks we had as mains were actually much better, as the sides. Good meat and cooked properly. Not the best wine, but this was our wrong selection. Good service.

The Butchers Hook and sister restaurants Amigos, Southern Cross Bar and Indian at the Cross offer such great menu variety and all of great quality. From simple food to a surf and turf. The best thing is one person can have Indian food and another Mexican and yet another steak! Where else can you do that?! Amazing friendly staff. Also have great brunch and offer free flow specials on beer and wine and more. Check it out if in Suzhou

We came here to celebrate an anniversary and we were directed to a private room on the second floor with a view of the street. The odd part was leaving the main restaurant and walking into the mall to take the escalator to the separate second floor entrance.There was a lot of wait staff and service was very well coordinated and almost flawless in execution. One of the best meals I experienced in China in recent memory. We ordered the ahi tuna/avocado along with grilled prawn appetizers. Both were very good but I wished for more.The rib eye steak was very juicy and cooked perfectly. The side dishes of Mac nâ Cheese and Au gratin potatoes were creamy, cheesy and very decadent.Prices are about par with the US.Will definitely come back again.Thank you for dining with us at Morton's Grille Suzhou. We came here for dinner and to enjoy the live entertainment. The restaurant served a limited number of entrees mainly centered around Angus steaks, burgers, and risotto. There was a decent selection of Italian and American style appetizers and desserts. Bar has an extensive array of alcohols and a wall of wine.I tried the Ceasar salad topped with crunchy bacon, croutons and a whole hard boiled egg. It had a little too much dressing for me. The rib eye was undercooked a bit from my requested medium but the flavor was one of the best I have eaten in China. Accompanying the steak was one piece of broccoli, a tomato and a small scoop of mashed potato. For dessert, we picked the cheesecake but it was unusually soft and not that good. The ambiance and decor was very nice. The band and singers played throughout our meal and were very good. Service was with white gloves but the execution not consistent for all of us. one of our entrees was accidentally delivered to another table which delayed all of us eating together. For now average rating but with some improvement in service then could go higher.
