As soon as a decent chain moves into huainan, I'm not staying here anymore!
Reviewed By lightninglizzieThis is a terrible hotel with pretensions of grandeur but no substance. The lobby is meant to look imposing - I've seen wedding photos being taken there (can't think of anywhere I'd less want to hold my wedding reception). It's full of marble-esque pillars and a grandiose floor, but dimly-lit and depressing. The rooms can also look ok on first glance but they don't even do the basics right. The carpet is usually filthy, I've had toilets block, showers flood, the WiFi not work, plug sockets not work. The decor is very gloomy - mahogany and dank beige and stained furnishings. It's cold in winter. Breakfast is underwhelming to say the least. I know it may sound like an odd thing to write, but the breakfast room again has pretensions to grandeur without actual attention to detail and that annoys me the most. Chair covers are all creased, tables are dirty etc. The staff are nice enough but untrained. The first time I stayed there a 'lady of the night' phoned my room at 10pm but I complained and it hasn't happened since. I am longing for a decent chain to move into huainan - I have to go there sometimes for work - if even a travelodge equivalent opened I'd jump ship straightaway.

Comfortable hotel in a convenient location
Reviewed By DCDVI stayed at the Jinmao as part of an official delegation in October 2005. Chances are, if work or travel plans bring you to Huainan, you will understand that lodging options are somewhat limited. That being said, this is probably the nicest hotel in the vicinity. The food is good, the service was fine (though you'll want to brush up on your Chinese to get around), and the rooms were comfortable enough, with fairly dependable broadband access. I plan to return in a few weeks and will be able to provide an update-- things change so quickly in these developing cities...

Reviewed By 胖胖不肥酒店在路边，有点吵，停车位不是很多，先到先得吧！夜里好像车位不紧张。酒店服务还是很好的，没带充电器，服务员把自己的借给同学，很周到。房间很大，干净也还行。楼下卖的东西也很多，有药店，茶杯，饭店，很方便。还有外卖可以送。

Just as good the second time
Reviewed By InstantcalmerMy previous review is being fulfilled a second time as i stayed for another 4 nights here. Now they do have a coffee machine in the breakfast buffet. It's still a Chinese style because they don't get many foreigners in this city. There are new counter staff who are very friendly and helpful. They speak a little English but they have a voice translator machine on the counter that works fairly well. The daily cleaning service is excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

一家中规中矩的格林豪泰酒店
Reviewed By Luqikiki因为离第二天早上要去的地方比较近，所以选择入住了这家酒店。如果单纯从位置来说，这家酒店所处的地点并不显眼，对于游客来说不是那么容易找到。和当地的其他酒店比起来，价格还是比较贵的，不过考虑到是一个的知名连锁酒店，也还是可以接受，毕竟入住会比较放心。 很好的一点是酒店的房间非常的大，卫生间也比较宽敞。还送早餐券，对于早上起来，懒得四处寻找早餐的人来说，还是很方便的。酒店看起来还比较新，但是有一些设施可能是维护的不太好，有一些损坏也没有及时维修。卫生间始终有滴水的声音，对于睡眠有一点影响。总的来说，在住过的几家不同地方的格林豪泰里面，算中等水平，尚可接受。
