Definitely one of the best fish and chip shops in the area. However was disappointed today that they seem to have changed the gravy they offer and seem to find it acceptable to charge for brown coloured water. If you donât want to sell gravy then donât but donât change people for brown flavourless water. Chips and everything else about the meal was very good as always just disappointed that little things that make a difference have gone down hill.

I have ordered from here on a couple of occasions and glad I waited to write a review.Iâll start with food..the food is overall fairly good but I have noticed a steady decline in more sauce and less protein content. The nan breads are very rubbery and burnt taste on the edges. The popadoms have been coming broken into pieces and at 75p each I donât expect shards all over the place. So in conclusion once again a good takeaway has become steadily poor in standards.NOW....Delivery and this is what got me to write a review...I waited an hour for delivery to be greeted by a gentleman who had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, thought nothing of his hygiene but when I closed the door the overwhelming smell of stale smoke all over my containers shook me to the core. Iâm a non smoker so I donât expect a £32 meal to smell like a overused 80âs working mans club ashtray. Iâm appalled that the delivery driver felt the need to smoke in his car with the windows closed to cause this stench. This fact alone has made me avoid using them again and I wonât be recommending them.

Ordered through 'Just Eat'. Very nice delivery driver. Easy to order and menu straight forward. Food late, one meal just off cold but the rest was very hot. Onion rings, tepid, stodgy and unpleasant, halloumi burger hot and delicious, Nachos very soft, salsa tasty, cheese topping was one cold rubbery blob! Lamb gritty, fatty and very unpleasant, chips cold but just about edible. If it wasn't for the burger we ended up sharing we would have gone hungry. Do NOT recommend and will not be using again.
