I've had a takeaway a number of times from Cove Tandoori but my latest one has been, by far the best one I've ever had. That also includes a Michelin star curry house in Cardiff! The food was piping hot, tasted amazing and really made me want to order another one...Onion bhajis were crispy, Chicken tikka makhani was delicious and the naan was light. I'm very much looking forward to having another!

We came here for an 80th birthday party. The food was extremely slow to arrive and the waiters kept making empty promises as to when we would receive the dishes. When the food finally arrived, it was bland and lacking in flavour and spice. I can only imagine they are trying to cater to a Western palate. Won't be coming back here again.Dear krisThank you for taking extra time to write .Let me explain readers about the situation of your table please if I may so.Very simple-1) your booking was from 6:30 whereas first lots about 8 of you arrived at 6:45 after wards and again you had to wait rest of your party for extra 15 minutes. That means you started to make late yourself from your side without letting us know as you did not value our time.2) you were advised itâs a long delay as was started from your side and the restaurant was very busy. Even you had said your self good food needs to be cooked properly.As proper cooking takes more time than microwave.3) I were checking about the expectations of your food myself NUMEROUS TIMES and your FIRM answer was about the food above the expectations. If you would like to remember , you were asked about the quality of the food and your answer was above your expectations.Dear browsers, kindly advise us if we can improve on this.NOW if you wanted to give us the constructive feedback you could have given at those occasions but you preferred to pull us back as you did not wanted to be looked after properly. We just had a fabulous family curry, amazing food, lovely staff and the restaurant looks lovely.All our dishes were cooked to perfection, a lovely mix of flavours. I wouldnât hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

Arrived just before 8pm and the restaurant was full. Always a good sign.Food was excellent and arrived at a good speed.Service was good, except one guy serving couldnât seem to speak or understand English. He seemed to be Eastern European. This made things at times tricky!However, would definitely return and highly recommend.

Food is consistently good not to say excellent, we have always a good meal and all our family enjoy the place. Personally I find the restaurant with its blue hues cold but this does not interfere with the food enjoyment. The dishes are well presented like in a Top London restaurant without the price of London.

So pleased to find a good Indian restaurant which we can enjoy as a family. Our kids (6 and 4yrs) love eating here, choosing from the childrenâs menu. Delicious food, super friendly staff and kids eat free before 7pm. Whatâs not to love!? Itâs our go to take away too! I joined a large group here and we had a really enjoyable evening. Service was friendly and not rushed and menu was interesting, food nicely served and really tasty. There's another indian in HW but this is a good option too.
