We chose to celebrate our 20 years aniversery together at Henne Kirkeby kro. One of the reasons that we chose this place is chef Poul Cunningham. I am a huge fan of his food. The inn is very beautiful. The 4000m2 garden contains vegetables, fruits, flowers and honey. Our room was situated in the main building. magnificant room with all you need. The dinner was by enlarge a wonderful experience with complementary wines from many different countries. The breakfast is really good. Forget what you have tried elsewhere and be prepared to skib lunch that day. If you are wondering why I have not given the inn 5 points is because there were small issues we experienced which I argue should be in place when you have 2 michelin stars. And usually in all restaurants runned by Paul Cunningham the irish cream used to be home made. All things taken into consideration I love this place and would like to come back again.

The food
Better than average in the area (deep fried hell). We had the moules frites and beach burger. Ok quality, but nothing extraordinary.
Location
It's perfectly situated right by the beach but also by Henne's biggest parking lot.
Service
You order at the counter and the waitress spends 5 minutes desperately trying to find the right table.

Owned by an italian family, they serve great pizzas. I come here almost every year and I am never disappointed. Perfect relaxed holiday-spirit. Waiters often speak Danish, English, Italian and Deutsch. Possible to sit outside with a view to the setting sun. I often come for lunch, you get the pizzas cheaper, as the only negative thing about this place is that it's a bit to the expensive side. They also have a take-away service

A very nice local restaurant. The family owned business is straight forward and brings out generous portions. No vegetarians here. The food is solid and tasty. Loved the dessert ending. Easy parking, very clean and fair prices, make this place a sure bet. Sometimes it pays to get out of the ordinary and this will treat you.

This restaurant has a good patio facing a small square with a playground for the kids, inside they have also made a play area for the kids and they therefore love coming here. Play areas are placed so they do not disturb any diners, which makes it a good place if you do not want kids disturbing you. Many restaurants could learn something here.
In the high season service is handled by young girls hired for the season and they are busy, therefore do not expect too much. They are very polite thou.
A la carte dining is not as good as the price suggest, standard is close to café standard, but priced above that level. Some days they have a buffet which is very nice.

I have now dined at Colosseo a few times and the food is good but not fantastic. The restaurant is a bit run down and the interior is not charming, as it is relying on its location, but the staff is very nice and even a few vegetarian options are available. Everyone was happy with their food, and particular the seafood was appreciated by our party.

We weren staying t the hotel, two nights.One night the restaurant was full and we walked along to Henne Strand (3kms on the beach) but saw nothing exciting there. Second night we ate in the hotel - demi-pension like most guests. Good food, well presented, wines t not earth-shattering prices. Recommended.

We got to Henne around lunchtime, 8 people in the party. Got outside Seating, ordered at the counter and got very fast served food. A lot of food! Very good portions, good looking and great taste. Sandwich, pasta, baguettes, crepes, milkshakes and smoothie...everything was of good quality. Smiling girls that served us, a very variety on the menu for everyone.....almoust a high score for this place.

A really great seaside cafe, hyggelig, come pub serving locals as well as many tourists ,My Danish wife and I love the great ice creams and such cheap costing glasses of wine and the super Irish coffees ,Staff always ready with a smile and speedy service ,a must for couples or family to visit .På gensyn.

Really the worst service ever! Don't go, it's a waste of time.
The personnel made us feel very unwanted, and the food was just bad....
asked others and they have had the same experience. Don't waste your time or money on this place.
