A great place for bird watching In Denmark (about 250 different species) and plenty of other wildlife too. Walking around the large, flat bottomed lake and view how all the animals and plants thrive is just a relaxing and pleasant experience. There are many trails, all easy to walk on, and a wheelchair is certainly also capable on some of the larger gravel tracks. Just great they have re-created the old lake which was draining for farming for 40 years or more

Soft white sand - lovely. Bathroom facilities, some refreshments available. There is a parking lot, but on a busy day, the lot fills as do the sides of the street on the way to the beach. If it is a pleasant day, allow some extra time to get to/from this beach as the street is not large and traffic can get backed up.

Børsmose beach is quite perfekr for ALL. There is a small stream at the descent, where children and young at heart can build dams and the North Sea is good to bathe in both children and adults. A great benefit is that you can drive a car, down the beach and park here for free. ATTENTION - THERE KAAN BE CURRENT AT COAST - see. signage.

Vi var 15 piger, som besøgte Barfodsparken.
Det var rigtig sjovt, vi hyggede os med snacks og et glas vin inden vi gik en tur på ca. 1 time igennem de 34 porte, hvor der var lidt af hvert for fødderne.
Det er en rigtig god attraction for børn I alle alder også.

This is a must see! Very authentic Viking village set in the quaint countryside. There are villagers dressed in authentic Viking clothing. Great place to visit with children during the holidays! The beach just goes on for kilometres, so you can spend a great deal walking with the dogs or even take a bicycle for a ride. The beach is also clean and looked after by everyone! Make sure to see the sunset!

Not having the the biggest experience with kids playlands/ areas I must say, I am very very impressed with Bork Legeland.
The facilities and play arena are clean, staff very friendly and once you have paid for the entrance, you can leave and return later on during the Day. You have the option to bring your own lunch.
Parents lounge, smoking area.

Stor var min overraskelse, da jeg opdagede, at en forretning i Henne Stationsby er registreret som den største seværdighed i Henne og den tredie største seværdighed i hele Varde Kommune.
Det er naturligvis absurd, når man tænker på, at der i Varde Kommune er en lang række store seværdigheder.
Ved nærmere eftersyn konstaterede jeg så, at placeringen er baseret på 7 samtidigt indberettede anmeldelser. 5 anmeldelser fra personer, der ellers ikke benytter tripadvisor, og 2 anmeldelser fra personer, der kun minimalt benytter tripadvisor.
Det er selvfølgelig påfaldende, men det kan jo skyldes helt enestående tilfældigheder.
Strandvejen 82 er måske en fin forretning, men at kalde den en seværdighed, det vil være et meget stort ord at tage i anvendelse.

This 'local' museum opened up a real view of the Danish west and history. Add in outside Gardens, a restored home, a full whale skeleton, picnic areas and fun games for kids and it became a well worthwhile stop. Then add in that everything on display is explained (written) in Danish, German and English - they should be very proud of what they have created!
