Lovely place to stay!
Reviewed By Danny_S_IsThis hotel was more than expected- the room was nice, breakfast was excellent with a nice view of pool and forest. We also had a superb diner in the restaurant and enjoyede the pool- all on a one night stay.

Owner lacks customer friendliness, we felt more like a burden to her
Reviewed By JillP1659- No airco, thus hot in the summer time - No private parking, even though this is mentioned on booking.com (there is parking in the street of the hotel, but you have to stand on the curb because it's a small street with quite some traffic passing through) - Breakfast was pretty basic, not much choice and was only possible from 8:30 onward which is quite late when you have a full day planned - Location: far away from main sights in Black Forest - Not very customer friendly: we did not feel very welcome with our 2 dogs (even though they were allowed), but rather felt like we were a burden for them - The restaurant was supposed to be open until 2pm, we wanted to order something at 1:30pm but the owner had already closed her kitchen and according to her we had to let her know on beforehand. - Bad beds - One of our dogs bit in the stuffing of one of the chairs, the owner told us and said it was ok, but when we checked out she had charged us €60 for the chair (without mentioning it on beforehand, it was only afterwards that she told us so we had already paid) and according to her it had to even be €100 (while the chair wasn't broken or anything). I would recommend the owners not to allow dogs anymore since these things can happen. We didn't mind paying a fee (although not €60 and certainly not €100) but it wasn't fair that she didn't mention this until after we actually already paid. - Quiet area, so no noise at night - The apartment was very clean, modern and comfortable - It was nice that there were electrical blinds (but unfortunately no airco) - Great shower - Dinner at the restaurant was ok, but rather expensive and not much choice

Terrible food good service
Reviewed By kyriakos2013Pork schnitzel was very small portion for the price. Poor value for money. Salad was clearly old and not fresh. Fries were not freshly prepared and most likely frozen and heavily fried. Service was excellent. Staff were friendly. Would not recommend at EUR 20 per person.

Relax in famiglia
Reviewed By AnnaL369Appartamento nel cuore della Foresta Nera. Spazioso, pulito e fornito di tutto. Un luogo ideale per i bambini che hanno a disposizione non solo moltissimi giochi in loco, ma uno splendido giardino e cortile con biciclette, trattori, tricicli, ping pong..etc. I proprietari disponibili e gentilissimi. é possibile inoltre acquistare prodotti di loro produzione: uova fresche, frutta e verdura secondo disponibilità stagionale. A pochi metri si trova anche un parco pubblico e sono innumerevoli le passeggiate nella natura. A poca distanza dal centro di Haslach in cui si trovano negozi, ristoranti e lo splendido centro storico. Un piccolo paradiso per trascorrere una vacanza nel totale relax ! Un grazie speciale alla Famiglia per aver reso indimenticabile la vacanza del mio bimbo.
