Worst hotel to visit in Armenia

We visited Armenia last month and this hotel was not hospitable for many reasons. 1- The asked for everyone to wake up to serve the breakfast 2- They asked to turn off lights after leaving our rooms 3- They don't respect people privacy and asked to before 12 PM and their excuse is always they want us to leave to clean the room "which they didn't" 4-The weather was cold and we asked to turn on the heater and they answered that the season hasn't started yet !!!! I ask the ministry of tourism in Armenia to track this people and hold them accountable to this issues. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!!

Great Armenian hospitality
Reviewed By emster2029We booked this B&B to stay a night after our visit to the nearby monasteries. As our vehicles returned to Tbilisi after the day, we decided to have dinner at Mary's. It costs AMD6000 pp including bottles of local wine. Dinner was cooked by Mary with a helper. Before dinner Mary's mum entertained us with a piano recital. Dinner was a typical home meal in an Armenian family. The breakfast next morning was equally sumptuous. The property has 3 twin rooms with its own bathrooms. Mary's was in this B&B business for 3 years and had been rated 9.6 by Booking. com for 2 consecutive years. I certainly recommend this property to anyone who need to spend a night at. Haghpat.

Reviewed By incognito2017Stayed here while visiting Haghpat Monastery. Originally only booked in for one night but ended up coming back for a second. Friendly, helpful staff (across the hotel) and nothing was too much trouble for them. Delicous breakfast and supper. There was no menu when I was there as it was still with the printers but the kind staff in the kitchens were very helpful. I would recommend. Not all the staff speak English but some one who did was called to help.

Gayane hotel consists of 7 rooms - 4 cottages. Every cottage can host 4-5 people. There are 2 bedrooms, lavatory, refrigerator, satellite, conditioner in every cottage. The price for cottage is 35000 AMD (breakfast included). The rooms are furnished very well. It is situated in surroundings of Haghpat church. Reviewed By Cardiogelf1Wonderful hotel in a great location. Basic, but clean rooms, good water pressure and delicious homemade breakfast. There's another hotel with a restaurant and good dinner with local wine, next door. The hotel is 10inutes away from Hangout and 15 mins from Sanahin monasteries

Stunning Camping Area
Reviewed By 1991MRThis camping area lies on the top of the debed canyon. From there you have a magnificent view over the landscape. Arthur, the host, is a very friendly guy and helpful. Also there is alovely dog a beautiful cats. Everything is clean. The garden is super nice.
