Big park area vailable for the cars The lonely problem was due to the people that were in the bar (maybe not hotel guest) and that made a lot of noise without think to the hotel guest

Reviewed By thewelkI didn't have any expectations when booking this hotel (neither good not bad). It's a business trip to Hagen after all...But I was still pleasently surprised about how nice the room was and how friendly and professional the staff were. Breakfast is also very good quality. There's really nothing to not like.

Reviewed By Annika DVery friendly staff. The room newly renovated and the bed gave a good night sleep. Breakfast super, no hot food but didn't miss it cause everything else was super. Dinner when we arrived was also very good.

A very nice play for a stay
Reviewed By Simon JI picked this hotel, due to the fact that it is situated in a very nice area, and I must say I was not disappointed at all, the hotel it’s self is up in a very nice green area, you have a great view from the front, I had the room number 14, which had a very nice view to the side, also this room has balcony which was very good seeing that I like a smoke now and then, the hotel it's self is very clean and the employees were all very freindly. Seeing that I was hungery after a day's work I decided to have a meal at the hotel, I must say it was a very nice meal and I enjoyed it very much it was very good value for the price. The room it's self had enough space for me, the bed was very comfortable and I had a good night’s sleep, the bath room was very good here one had enough room to move around. The breakfast in the morning was also very good, you could find everything that you have at home.

Cute hotel with nice beds
Reviewed By Danielle PCharming hotel with clean rooms. I think they are new owners. Located on a quiet road near a little brook. Friendly staff. Nice soft beds. Close to many little villages as well. I highly recommend staying here it is a good value for the money and it is a cute hotel.

Erfüllt den Zweck für Geschäftsreisen
Reviewed By ShmendricDas Amical ist einfach gehalten, preislich nahezu unschlagbar, hat eine super Lage (direkt am Bahnhof, Innenstadt) und scheinte mir relativ neu. Der Empfang war freundlich, das Zimmer klein (vollkommen ausreichend als Geschäftsreisender) und sauber, aber zur Straße hin bis in die Nacht mega laut. Darüber hinaus lassen sich die Zimmer mit den Vorhängen nicht ausreichend abdunkeln, so dass man schon einen guten Schlaf benötigt, um auf dem zugegeben bequemen Bett eine ausreichende Mütze an Schlaf zu bekommen.

Turkish promises from a German hotel
Reviewed By GytisKI thought that you can be scammed only in Turkey for promises on the hotel. They show you nice pictures and you get a old hotel, wich is in the middle of renovation jobs with a terrible stench inside. If you want not to have nightmares afterwards please choose arcadeon hotel wich is only hundred meters from this one.

Quiet and comfortable
Reviewed By NihilnisibeneIf you see fit to pay the former industrial town a visit this is a good place to stay. Comfortable beds, roomy bathroom and a nice breakfast. The reception will help you find your way around should you need it. Try to explore the surroundings, the city centre offers less charms. Recommended.

Decent hotel for a couple of nights
Reviewed By chris2401I stayed here for two nights to visit family. The hotel is relatively new and modern. The public areas are nice and contemporary. In particular the bar looked good, but I didn’t have a drink there, so can’t rate it. The hotel is close to the motorway, so getting into Dortmund (the next larger town) is no problem. One needs a car though, otherwise the location could be tricky. The room was in a good condition and very clean. The positives: - Friendly staff - Comfortable bed - Nice bathroom - Well priced breakfast - Complimentary water The negatives: - No air-conditioning - No Do Not Disturb sign (maybe they forgot to put it in the room) - Room was next to an external staircase, so with the window open due to no aircon, safety was a concern for this particular room - Bad lighting in the room - just one ceiling light, which made the room dark
